  • Hey man...This is the set i'm getting in a few weeks. is there lighting built into the coaches? Wont mention it on the box or in the Hornby site. If not, can you tell me how you added the lighting? Thanks in advance! You have a beautiful layout!

  • hey how come you have put lighting into the coaches do you think it will have a better Aperance or somthing ?

  • excellent layout any diesel engines big fan of br

  • brillant vid i love it

  • nice layout you have like the scotsman

  • This train and the Mallard are my favorite steam engines by Hornby

  • awsome, how you make the terrain

  • @FelthamProductions Hornby make the train- not terrain!

  • how many trains have you got?

  • i have a flying scotsman loco somewere but the motor on it dont sound too good so i cant run it

  • how did you make that tunnal? love your layout

  • i seen youve go a mallard a4 class please run it for me on you page and make it 5:00 please

  • You should get a Britania that would be nice :) they have smoke boxes (older tri-ang aka hornby do!)

Must cost you a bomb on that layout

  • Wow. Tis is really good. At some ponts in the video when the camera is next to the track it looks almost real. If you used a sky backdrop it could have fooled me.

  • how do you contral it

  • wow awesome set! your layout is one of the best ive seen ive made one like that i have the virgin pendolino

  • Thank you all for your compliments. It just goes to show that if someone enjoys doing something, it usually turns out well. I will be filming more footage this weekend, so watch this space!

  • you should ABSOLUTELY make the Railway Series. this layout would be fantastic

  • how do you make a tunnel??

  • Very Good! I think the lighting conversion is great - that has given me an idea!

  • Love the layout!

What Kit did you use for lightingthe carriages?

  • thats a great layout. U could get sum Thomas characers and start a series!

  • I used 3x 'grain of wheat' bulbs soldered to copper tape on the inside roof of each carraige. I wired the connections through a drilled hole in the middle of the bogey pivot, and used thin wire, shaped and bent to make connections with the inside wall of each wheel (I had some spare time). This is why you han hear a 'squealing' noise as the train runs round the track.

  • That's an amazing track. I was going to ask where the door is and how do u get in, but realised that in the last couple of seconds. WOW

  • wow nice layout

  • i got the lim edt loco driven Flying Scotsman

  • its easy to find pictures of the flying scotsman but i havnt seen any propper pictures of it pullnig these carraiges in real life... if it did (i have this set) it would have more than 3 i noticed u can get a sleeper that matches these, how many cars would it pull in real life that r this style?

  • I Think Your Train's on Fire

Trainspotter huh, not like the movie though.

  • Did the Coaches have lights in them?

  • Yes, the coaches do indeed have lights in them. I used 3x 'grain of wheat' bulbs soldered to two srips of copper tape inside the roof of the carriage. this is wired to brass wire which rubs on the wheels for electrical pickup. I employed the same method to the coaches featured in my Royal Scot video. Thanks for watching and dont forget to rate! :-)

  • can u do a vid on how to put lights in the coaches. i want to put sum in mine. nice vid
