this was the peak of the series. part 3 and all the way after that never could match up to this in music. the gameplay was also tight

I think 3 was the peak as far as music and gameplay. That was the game that perfected the controls, added slide, rush, protoman etc. 4,5,6 have they're moments and tunes but are all MM3 with new bosses more or less.

You are right second part is father of all megaman serials it have best music and best weapon also i talking about Metal blades

All other parts are based on this one and in part 3 also there is few good music

Topman,HardMan,and spark Man even snake man have good music
