very easy to complain that the x1 is faster in this video.

The x1 has a shorter qwerty keyboard than the touch pro, so it hits faster the point that the hardware knows it has to rotate the screen. Thats it.

By the side, htc is much better than SE. Read all reviews on the internet

The iphone is good for multimedia and fancy interface eye-candy giggles. The X1 has more functionality besides being able to play multimedia and browse websites. It can make/edit (word)documents, it has a good appointment (calendar) function and a customizable interface.

I really like the look of the X1, but I dislike all of the overly-fancy graphics with the panels and such. I really like that you can get the TouchFlo3D on the X1 now, but the cost of the phone, though you're paying for quality, is a huge turnoff for me. Like I said I really like the look and feel of it, just not the keyboard. I hope to see some quality phones from HTC after this.

The only reason the HTC Touch Pro is slower, is because it has a taller keyboard, so it has a longer time to close the keyboard. So he should've let the keyboard on the HTC go up a little, so you would get better reuslts.

Hmm..I'd say not - although the HTC keyboard is larger, the time difference between some of the tests (have a look at 0:44 for a stark difference) is much longer than the time gained by the Xperia having a smaller keyboard. I think for all practical purposes, the time difference due to keyboard size is negligible.

And yea if you got it from the U.S. , the bigger probability for the X1 is about % 75-80 for it to work. But if you got it from the U.K. or from Europe in general ( It will work %100 for sure ) , and as I've stated above the X1i ( Europes model ) is the right 1 . Take Care! :-)

Well just watch the video, when closing the keyboard with Opera opened. It takes about 3 seconds.

And when I unfold the keyboard after having opened a new text message reply, not only does it lag, but it goes back to the "home screen", and I have to find my draft message again. What a waste of time.

It looked dimmer, and not as bright, to me.. In real life, the X1 looks clearer, and brighter, however the brightness makes it look the opposite in this vid :) They both have really nice screens. What surprised me with the x1 was how clear it was in sunlight

reason could be is that the brightness is not set up all the way i have the touch pro for sprint and i can clearly see it, even though i have brightness in the middle its still very good quality. also haveing brightness on these phone up is a bad idea because the batteries die on these phones very rapidly
