I always end cry now when I hear the song With or Without You, but I think this is my favourite song and scene. She understands who she is and repects her family. Love the book and film!

I've only read the book, but I've never watched the movie. After John dies [he dies because they say there was too much pressure, and he ate pills], she reads the note. Its talks about how he sees nothing, and everywhere's black. It doesn't say anything about Josie's note.

they wrote the note because it was an excercise set at josie's school by the nuns... wen he was depressed she suggested they both do it and be each others confidants. They each wrote their darkest secrets or how they felt then they were sposed 2 wait til after HSC to open each others. he killed himself cos he was skitzaphrenic (cant spell) the nite b4 HSC.

unfortunatley the movie doesnt stick to the book perfectly... which i always hate cos things are better when theyre right ;)
