  • I got this game for Christmas back in the day. I really don't know why, it wasn't like I was a super Disney or Mickey fan as a kid. I soon grew pretty bored with it, and even to this day I've never beaten it.

  • The waves and the brooms are definantly worse than the spiders

  • Mousecapade was actually made by Hudson. Capcom just produced the game.

  • Actually Minnie isn't susceptible to attacks, just from falling down holes(which is really annoying in level 2). And she doesn't attack either, it's just that Mickey can shoot 2 stars. Just something I thought I'd point out.

  • Heh, I did notice Minnie doesn't suffer damage, but that was after this review.

Also, Mickey doesn't shoot two stars IIRC.

  • Why didn't you push the game inside the NES??????

  • Because my NES works better if the games aren't pressed down. It puts less pressure on the pin connector, which means it lasts longer. :)

  • i thought they have to be pressed down in order to play. also, even if they work better not being pressed down i thought u still shouldve pressed them down otherwise it looks weird.

  • Well if you have been pressing games down for a while, chances are they won't work in the up position anymore. That's proof pushing the games down wears out the pin connector.

If you buy a brand new 72-Pin connector (or re-bend ALL 72-Pins on your existing connector), you can condition your connector to play games in the up position. You'll find they will work every time for a long time. I've had my new pin connector for over a year and my NES has never had a problem. :)

  • It should've just let you play as EITHER mickey or Minnie. Not both simultaneously.

  • The reason is sucks so bad is because Hudson Soft designed it, Capcom just stuck their name on it.

It says hudson soft right on the title screen

  • Nintendo did most (if not all) publishing back in those days. IMO Capcom is equally responsible for letting Mickey Mousecapade out the door as Hudson Soft is.

  • Wow, this game looks annoying and bad.

  • The game is not all too horrible. I remember playing it way back in the late 80s/early 90s and having less trouble with things throughout it. The only really annoying bits come when, because of the way she trails behind slightly, you can't quite make a jump with both Mickey and Minnie. I can't count the times she has missed a jump that Mickey would make perfectly. Co-op would have been nice but at the time it didn't really bother me or my friends very much.
