I did a music degree here for just about two terms (2010-2011). This uni is terrible, the teachers with a few exceptions do not seem to have much interest in teaching music. The type of things they were teaching are things that a GCSE student should be comfortable with and the organisation is awful.When i called to see when my first class started the people on the phone said they do not know and that I should just turn up and hope I have a class.The class was cancelled as no teacher was availabl

Cat hill is boring with 330 pm being when everything stops

No crits apart from the last few months which makes peer critique laughable and handicaps yourself in relation to other london art schools.

after 2.5 years i moved to central and had a studio to myself because MDX is very depressing in so many little ways that after trying to feign excite or interest i gave up and I will give in my dissertation at the end.

Only good thing is their rich with all our money and they are always improving facilities. Seeing a Jaguar XF parked at the front or a Aston Martin only makes you think what the hell their spending our money on.

Middlesex is 90% foreign student, Thats 10 grand a year per foreign student. And Masters programs for them probably more.

The facilities are sub par in comparison to the funds they receive from foreign students which is like 90%!

They have highest ranking for plagourism too

People have opinions based on their experience. What I know is that the unis overall ranking is not good but if you look into sub rankings i.e. job opportunity for fresh graduates or research facilities, you will find mdx ranking far better than renowned unis.

I didn't want to even think about going university, but I've suddenly been thinking about it quite a lot.

My teacher told me about MDX today, it's not far from where I live, about 30mins, but I heard London is a pretty competitive place to get into to Uni

it all comes down to what u're studying. but for most courses, mdx is awesome! don't listen to those idiots who criticize, they've either never been there or were spoiled little brats who partied all year and then realised that maybe they should have worked a bit harder to get better grades. i'm not saying it is the best uni ever, but it is a good one! :)

Don't listen to the people that say don't go, because it really is down to what you make of your time there and the uni tables are bollocks because they mainly asses it on the mainstream subjects. I know MDX specialises in the performance area and the business area i do believe. I am doing Theatre arts at MDX, becuase i know it is one of the best unis to go to in terms of performing. Research the course you are doing and have a look at what uni offers the best options in that course.

Believe me, I know this university very well and the campus featured here, Trent Park. As with all MDX campuses, there is no student life to speak of, lecturers seem fed up and bogged down by their new learning framework. MDX seems to be run by women with what males there are being at lecturer level only. If you want to go to uni, then go to one of the top 20 unis. MDX is almost at the bottom! If you cannot get into top 20, they go to one that attracts research money as that's a good indicator.

Hey i can't believe that there are such negative comments about Middlesex. I've just spent three years there and I loved it. It's a great uni. All my mates who were also studying there loved it too. Middlesex is definitely better than many other UK uni's. In fact I've recommended my younger bro to go there too. There are alot of positive changes taking place there too in terms of campus development. Other campuses have now merged with hendon. Hendon will be the best campus in London!

U should definitely go to Middlesex... if u want a lausy education that is. On the other end if u are interested in good quality teaching avoid the place as a plague!

Middlesex uni sucks!!! They are only intersted in getting the money without provviding a decent education ar any other good quality service. Thank you for your comments! Un, I agree with you. This video was interesting to make becuase it was my first time to use the Camera and Final Cut Pro editing software. But definitely in the second video I made, the camera work was better and the editing was tighter.
