  • hm I am always in the mood for some fun

  • Heremy's face at 4:25-4:28

  • Nice video description...

  • Stop cutting episodes

  • they did this on top gear America

  • @brngallery The difference is that Top Gear America is dreadfully awful.

The British Top Gear does exactly what European cars do to American cars.

It makes them look incredibly stupid and poorly thought out in comparison.

  • wierd. all 3 of these cars are in my world's worst cars ever made book

  • It's got a stereo radio cassette, that doesn't work, it's got cruise control, that doesn't work and a electric sunshine roof, that doesn't work. Hilarious :D

  • "and hes brought a piece of cheese..." lol

  • What episode is this?? I don´t remember...

  • @Junglebiker77 It says season 10 episode 6 under the Top Gear Icon in the description.

  • @Junglebiker77 Just checked and it's actually Season 10 Episode 7, so it appears top gear listed it incorrectly.

  • nun bin so lieb

  • It is absolutely NOT the first car to have hidden wiper blades. Check your facts, James.

  • @crispiegee1 what car was it?

  • @camouflagecamaro99 I'm not entirely sure who was first, but I know that the 1969 Chryslers (full sized) had hidden wipers, and that predated that Princess, which debuted in 1975. These guys are on the most popular (and my favorite) motoring program in the world, so you'd think they'd fact-check their statements.

  • You missed out them breaking down and the lap against the stigs time :(

  • I'm not sure the description is accurate...

  • erm just turned 18

  • They also missed the part where Jeremy gets his finger stuck in the antenna hole on his rover

  • Hey!!! Where's the Top Gear British Leyland Trio???

  • i almost choked myself from a coke when jremy door come off hahaha

  • also Im daddys little girl

  • Dear James May, The first production car with concealed windsheild wipers was the 1963 Buick Electra Special, not the 1978 princess.

  • 0:37 Wow, he used to be really fat!

  • Top Gear sucks at descriptions maybe the Stig wrote it.

  • How is it a "Torture Chamber" when you can get no harm when walking there?

  • And u said our cars suck

  • @TopGear plz update the description

  • Man... that's a waste of water....

  • the bit with Jeremy's door on his Rover was the funniest thing I have ever seen on Top Gear until James's laughing at Jeremy in the Motorhome Challenge

  • I DONT LIKE THE CAR JAMES HAD

  • poor classics... but funny to watch

  • Haha james's groaning when Jeremy puts his finger in his snorkel

  • dolomite is a fertilizer hahaha

  • The best car show in the whole world. Most of you will agree and forget the details, but some of you retards will ask stupid questions, its ok if you dont get english humor with unique entertainment & news + car reviews. Ive meet James May once, we talked and You could not believe what wonderful people they are in their private life. TOP GEAR is the TOP of all motoring programs.

  • lol us version did this it was different but not better

  • and hes bought a piece of cheese.. XD

  • description fail

  • 9:19 is the best part

  • Good clip... but... how, exactly, does a Honda civic type R have anything to do with it??

  • Thumbs up for the water challenge!!! xD

  • Absolutly smashing, wonderfull, I'm willing to do something like that. I love it, and I love the featured cares on this run..

Next time try doing it with a BMW o a Mercedes or an Aston Marten Lagonga.. Super cool. I LIKE TI.

  • Nobody wants to see 'highlights' of the challenges, just upload the full ones

  • @MegaMrDamo buy them on DVD, you cheap fuck who doesn't understand the concept of money

  • why is jeremy always the last to go?

  • Even if it is scripted it still the best show I've ever watched in my 36 years on this earth.I do respect if a person don't like it or thinks its crap. That's your right. I just find it truly entertaining, and I even like the repeat shows when there between seasons. The 3 presenters just have amazing chemistry, and they feed off one another, and the challenges always have me in stitches. To me a great show through and through.

  • Has anyone noticed they copied this EXACTLY on one of the first american top gear episodes? LAME.

  • @coolioisafoolio YES, and when I saw that, I refused to ever watch that show again. Why did they even bother?!! Some things are just un-duplicteable, and completely un-toppable.

  • @Genevieve1023 Yea, I agree with you 100%. I watched maybe one or two more episodes and it comes NOWHERE close to the original.

  • lol look at the description :P

  • " you've been lapped, lapped by captain slow" HAHAH!

  • you've cut the best part in this challenge, the EGG TEST!!! :D

  • top gear is so staged, its shite now

  • these advertisments are annoying as fuck

  • He's brought a piece of cheese.

  • Hahahahahaha i spit all over my computer screen when i seen that door come off lmao!

  • 9:17 THE DOOR CAME OFF..LMAO

  • fake and cool

  • The truth about Jeremy Clarkson see:

    Craters meet Clarkson

  • hmmmm my trailblazer can make that uphill

  • I would not mud in that princess...although it looks like the designers did.

  • i'd brought a piece of cheese

  • 4`57 lying under my table from laughing....

  • I honestly think the 'princess',or mrs misnomer,is the ugliest car ever.1:44 lol,brown interior.I rest my case.

  • what works on a english car?

  • and jeremy said hed once stopped smoking, and smoke tires instead

  • "he'll got a piece of cheese" ..... lolssssssssssssssssssss

  • The Princess was the underdog in this one!

  • i was fascinated that they fascinate old cars.

  • Atleast when americans do stupid things it's funny.

  • 5:36 Hammond... How will you breathe? Jeremy: It doesn't say!... lol cracks me up!

  • LMAO AT 5:42 its a LEYLAND FIRE TRUCK!!!

  • Awesome ! i thought i would make my own video after this!

    youtube.com/watch?v=38hHhE0YRfA&feature=related

  • TGUS did the same challenges as this with GM cars, don't they? I don't know why, but this is my fav challenges, esp when they drive "under water" (I also like the TGUS version too! XD)

  • @nakaharaindria

Cant Top Gear US come up with some of their own challenges? They copy the show, they cop the stig, then they copy the challenges? They should get the fuck out, wannabe fakes.

  • @xAzZa1 well, I guess you're one of the haters of TGUS? I don't know, you should ask the TGUS' producer why he do that (why TGUS copy all about TGUK). I think it's not as bad as people said about TGUS, but yeah, I do admit that they copy everything. which is too bad. =/

  • If anybody can tell me what the song is at 2:52 (when James is talking about MIRA) I will have their babies.

ANYBODY, PLEASE! It's been driving me insane!

  • First car to have obscured windshield wipers?! I'm sorry, but Dodge were advertising that the Challenger did that in 1970. It's in the commercial, and they show the wipers going under the hood. That's 1970, which last I checked was before 1978.

I mean, I know it doesn't matter, but it gets annoying when they constantly have the attitude of, "If the Americans did it first, ignore the fact."

  • @JETZcorp I don't think its their attitude. I think James was probably going to say the first British car to have hidden wipers.

  • @JETZcorp ... Calm down will ya! No need to be so paranoid. This is a British show for a British audience, in that context James probably meant it was the first British car to have that feature. I know that in America television celebrities are like royalty and you hang off their every word as if it was gospel, but in the UK May, Hammond and Clarkson are just entertainers who produce around 14 episodes per year. It aint no big deal.

  • Anyone knows the tune at 7:22?

  • lol ferrari daytona. looks more like a chrysler daytona. (that's bad)

  • 9:01 "Jeremy its not filling up"

    "yees it is..." loll

  • love when back doors come off lmao

  • Thumbs up if you went and watched the video of "Dont you want me baby" to see if the car was actually in there :P haha

  • if anyone knows the name of the track when they fill james' car with water, please tell me

    thanks

  • @badabumbadabing1 Top Gear test track, it's not used for racing

  • @hejjagedu

    u serious?

  • @theIDKer

    what the fuck......it worked. why?

  • @MJkate

    one simple answer. IDK

  • @theIDKer dude, that is epic :D.

  • 7:40 haha xDD

  • the description is slightly off..

  • i lol'd so much my computer nearly exploded

  • i said the dolomite sprint is a jewel, and it is,it has a racing pedigree a 16valve engine in an era were even supercar had 2V x cilinder and most important in this case only 400 survives in britain so is much rarer than many ferraris or porches, do you really think is good use it for this purpose? at least a standard one,but whit so many rover 214,pug306,honda civic(or prius..) why use classic cars?

  • real idiots there's nothing to laugh, ruin good old cars for a stupid tv show, the dolomite sprint is a real jewel altough the first production car with 16v was the escort rs1600 in the '70 with the famous cosworth BDA engine,in '73 the dolomite sprint was the first saloon to wear such an engine, remember battles between these cars in the tour of britain?(in this case the escort was an rs2000 in truth, with its sohc 8v engine in group1 guise)

  • @maxrscsw lol you really just called those cars jewels? what is your opinion of a prius then? Diamands LMAO

  • I dont know why, but after this episode, I fell in love with these cars...:D

  • If you need to fill your car full of water and drive around for a bit.. buy a princess!

  • I have not money for buy one and...I french

(try to find a dolomite in France)

  • and he's brought a piece of cheese

  • At the end when Jeremys car door fell off, i AWNESTLY laughed soo hard i stopped breathing!

  • Princess Slow:)

  • @SomeCranbrookKid LOL XD hahah thats a new one XD captian slow/Princess slow XD LMAO

  • Now lets fill a lamborghini with water and see how it does.

  • to bad the part where they had to take the cars on the old paved road isn't in this clip, that was the best part

  • What the...? Imagine if some company even thought of selling a car in the US named 'Princess'? Oh wait there's one already here named Pious...er...Prius.

  • When playing press 8 :D

  • the guy's of top gear destroy a old classics and precious car's, the dolomite sprint is maybe the best sport saloon car of the sixties. I'm sick to see that's, the dolomite is the car of my dream's, the best triumph, much to the spitfire or TR's.

    Nothing respect.

  • @TheVladivostok87 this yes, yes, is very much like proper English.

  • @TheVladivostok87 Then why dont you buy one, there not exactly ''precious'' and expensive. On the other hand though it will cost you an arm and testicle to repair because 90% of them will have run into the ground.

  • Clarkson's "look" at 4:27... says it all.

  • My 71 Buick Riviera has wipers under the hood. Maybe that doesn't count since the Princess has them under the "Bonnet"

  • american top gear totally copied this

  • @miselramos83 I've seen so much that they've copied, you could put that on every episode. You'd think they could at least be a little original.

  • @patten08 yeah but at least its more topgear

  • my favorite!! :D

  • play it from 9:20 again and again and again :D

  • Comment removed

  • Anyone else getting like 10 seconds of video and you're like "Oh yeah, no commercials"

Then one plays at 15 seconds into the video

    Fuuuuuu-

  • Can the producers of Top Gear USA think of any challenges that the UK version hasn't already done?

  • @Shotgunbobeh I live in the US and never even watch it. Lol

  • ROVER IT'S BEST

  • with nobody behind thw wheels, it must be hammond!

  • oh my god, i would give so much for their job! xD

  • description is wrong. mention a Civic type R

  • can anyone tell me what is the song called in 2:32 ?

  • Leyland Colander! LOL!

  • the row over the "murder a Prostitute" joke is soo hilarous to this american, ooooh Jeremy you insulted serial killers! lolo what a dumb thing to complain about, how about the fact that the BBC helped start the Iraq war and not over a dumb tasteless joke! GO TOP GEAR!! THE US VERSION SUCKS BRING JEREMY TO AMERICA!

  • British Leyland half of the inspiration for the company name "Weyland-Yutani".

    'Nuff said.

  • @EddieTheFishReturns I heard that all their cars were designed to be able to resist a xenomorph attack for at least .5 seconds.

  • @ChienesSaventPas: Toyota were the other half. Apparently the director thought little of either company's relationship with its clients (and perhaps staff). Game over, man.

  • the number plate of james his car says "DAD" XD

  • This clip is great, but when the door flies off, it becomes epic.

  • Youve been lapped... lapped by Captain Slow. In Austin Princess full of water. :D

  • Joe Kittinger....ba!!s of steel. Go to you tube and watch "first man in space - skydiving from the edge of the world " or " Col. Silver Star (2) Legion of Merit (2) Distinguished Flying Cross (6) Bronze Star (3) Purple Heart (2) Meritorious Service Medal Air Medal (24) Prisoner of War Medal Aug 16th......Joe Kittinger Day! and GO TOP GEAR!
  • @JKthestud his record has been beaten by an Austrian, so really he shouldn't get anything. Plus this has nothing to do with the video

  • 4:18 Perpare for lift-off.

  • anyone know the song on 07:23?

  • 47 Fifth gear fans open the wrong vids...

  • jeremys door flew off, great.

  • Whats this for a song 2:40?

  • The Dolomite Sprint was the first production car with a 16 valve engine? The Bentley 3 litre had one in the 1920s...

  • @TheFlyingMile

the bentley marque is not a "production" marque of sorts. They were coachbuilding on a small scale, custom ordered cars; although it's not quite the same today.

  • @TheFlyingMile This might be a stab in the dark, but was the Bentley even considered a production car in 1920's and was it part of British Leyland?

  • he's bought a piece of cheese.. LOL!

  • My 1970 Dodge Challenger has obscured wipers, so captain slow is talking bollox!

  • @MarquisRex Not part of BL

  • lol at jeremy 00:57

    'Wow'

  • i think they should do a hot hatch for £500 challenge

  • 4:08 I can't stop laughing!

  • @Andyilmatto

There is something VERY wrong with that car.

  • He`s bought a piece of cheese !!

  • think you can beat that?

    *pause* We'll see

  • they cut the best part, the "eggs test"...

  • What is the song when james takes off for his lap at 7:50 ?

  • so the stig is ben collins

  • @iamgreatboss1 who is he! Anyone famous - never heard of him.

  • @urbex2007 hes a racing driver for formula1.

  • @iamgreatboss1, was. Heikki Kovalainen was one, schumacher might aswell been one, so might've damon hill and so on. i'd say collins was the normal driver but they brougt different people for different type of cars.

  • Comment removed

  • @somberlight Ok thank you for telling me that

  • @iamgreatboss1 no its schmacher

  • the stig could get any car for these kinds of money
