and you never said that all Dana rears don't need need that crown socket for the slack adjustment ........ don't get me wrong i got some very useful info but if your going to start at page 1 at least make it page 1
@Mr10inchnail please stop hating in public and then asking for advice in private messages. There are only 2 pieces of good advice you will get from me: #1 Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, and #2 don't shit where you eat.
@Mr10inchnail Check out my other videos to figure out how to remove the axle shafts. The knuckle comes off with a big hammer or a sledge... Hit downward!
Thank you for making these videos, I'm building up my axles and I had thought it would be a lot tougher than you make it look, thank you for putting your experiance in front of a camera to make it look easy so the rest of us without your know how will have the confidence to do our own.

Did you have to take the diff cover off to do the job? If you were to do it with the axle fluid in there would it all leak out? Thanks

@kervyn There is no need to remove the dif cover. There is not enough fluid in there to spill out as long as everything is level.

Matt, thanks for the heads up.
I was planning to do the same but it is real helpful to see the process done first.
As to hammering them out........well you just bent the axle yoke open.
See the comment below...LOL
Well done.
