  • OMG I HAAAAAATE Sprint!!!! WIth an intense passion. I am stuck with them till May and have to fight with them EVERY single month for their erratic extra charges. I was also lied to me about my contract. I was told my extra phone fees would be waived and it even said it on the contract. When they started charging me for them, I found the contract and showed it to them, but they basically said, well, we're just going to do what we want to anyway.

  • I work at sprint and i saw probably the most expensive movie ever. This guy goes to some country on vacation and starts downloading Wall-E... please bare in mind that he was roaming; $37 k he paid for that movie. I thought it was hilarious.

  • its because you were streaming a live video feed. And most likely leaving it on all day. After you reach a 5GB data usage limit, Sprint will charge 3 cents per kb. If you are broadcasting or "streaming" video, you are pissing your money away at aprx $3:00 a minute

  • Watch out - Sprint has a 3rd party text partner. They send you a text and if you open it you get charged $15 a month. Sprint will say "it is a 3rd party, not us" BUT Sprint bills and receives compensation. The cust serv rep said both her kids got the same text and were getting billed as well for something they did not sign up for. Sprint allowing this is = the LD slamming in the 80's and 90's. Unethical in my opinion.

  • 4 every account cancelled at Sprint the rep who cancels looses as well.They have 2 have a 68% save rate 2 keep their job.They also have a report card graded A-D,and issue resolve has 2 be over 80%.U can have an A report card & 129% issue resolve but if your save rate is below 68% out you go.Everything they used 2 have 2 offer 2 keep a customer was taken away stating customers had gotten spoiled because the other phone companies don't make these offers.

  • I had the exact same thing happen to me, a 14k+ bill. I showed everybody the bill, i couldnt believe it! Was gonna frame it and put it on my wall. Appearantly thier was a technical problem that they were aware of. I was lucky, they took care of it quickly.

I also talked to a manager after huge bill mistake($1000) and he gave me free internet, 6pm nights, moblie 2 moblie and insurence for life.

I have Sprint and have Simply everything and my bill is always the same.   • as an employee of Sprint, in the Nextel Department anyway, it's not like that at all. African Americans make up about 10% of the workforce, and any Indian Americans I work with, which make up another 10%, half of them were born and raised in the states, and half of the rest just born in India.

  • i work in the advanced technical support department at sprint. When we switched over our price plans and changed our billing system, bills were sent out that were incorrect due to system issues, this was a known issue. that is not the correct total due balance, that is a mis-print.

  • I'm sure it was just a mistake. I've been with Nextel for 5 years before they switched to sprint and my bill is the same every month! Service has gotten way better since they merged and better phones are coming out. I'll be signing another 2 year contract. I'm very pleased and every time I call sprint they are always very helpful. So this I think was one of those few times that a mishap of such large proportions has come up.

  • Sprint data plans for the aircards are unlimited while on their network! You can roam, but no more than 50% of your total usage. Your roaming an excessive amount which the cell company that owns the is billing sprint for.. And they in turn pass the buck to you! that's $.03 per kb plus other fees. Adds up reeeaaally quick when your talking about GB of data.

  • No what happen was, her billing date has closed, so she probably canceled her service before the closing date, and what happen was they had charged her $.03 cents every 1KB... (w/o contract) So yeah when she tired using the internet, she probably used about 469MB of data transfer. Due to youtube is a high volume data site. Thats how the bill was charged... But yeah, I'm sure they will clear the bill. And its no fraud, just a error. But funny tho!
