the whole downtown must have been shut down for a day or so, the ajacent building is slightly burning too.

The downtown area was shut down for a period of time i do not remember how many days .

I live in Paris and this happened 6 days after my birthday,downtown is always getting set on fire,kind of sad.

I can see the old Grand Theater in the background. I remember watching movies there when I was little kid. I grew up just a couple of miles from where this fire took place. Paris has a lot of great history and the square and fountain are just beautiful. What a shame. I hope no one was hurt.

I used to go to PJC and took Jewelry and Gemology course. I miss there. What was the building on fire? Post office? Is this Lamar Ave? This vid reminds me a lot. oh my got I wanna go back and see how it changes.

The building was on bohnam street west of the old down town area in paris texas just a few buildings down from the old first national bank .The buildings lower floor was at one time being used as an antique business the upper floor was an apartment loft residential rental i believe someone said it only had one tenant but they where not home at the time of the fire !

did they ever say what started it? me and my friends had to go around the square and say it from the back. oddly enough after the square we pulled into a street where an old chevy caught fire next to a house
