Live put most of there work into gameplay

and 2K put most of there work into graphics

But if u still have a ps2 then i suggest getting live because it got way more stuff to do on it and 2k doesnt really have shit besides the street game crap and association.

not really. They are both good. If you like to just have fun and not do alot of strategizing (like me, and alot of other people) then NBA Live is cool. But if u want to strategize and feel like ur in the game the 2K is for u. It all matters on what u like

when i mean strategize i mean think about the button and control ur gonna press ahead of time. NBA Live is more of an arcade feel to it which means it doesn't necessarily need alot of strategizing to it. NBA 2K9 makes it feel like ur just learning how to play the game again, so ur forced to strategize or else you will lose
