I've just lived in Vietnam for a couple of months - and people there are still affected by the spoils of war! ...children are still born handicapped from the cause of Agent Orange and every year a fair amount of people dies or mutilated from undetonated explosives - and what have the american state done? The answer is simple: NOTHING!!

This IS the ONLY song of Michael's I don't have. I have all of his CD's, and this song "How Still, How Silent" is not on any of them. I wish this was on another album, instead of an album with many different singers.

I believe Michael guested specially on this album of Graham Kendrick's, that's why it's not on any of Michael's albums, I guess. It's a beautiful, thought-provoking song, beautifully sung by Mr Crawford.

It is 'How Still How Silent' from 'Millennium Chorus - the greatest story ever sung'. It was apparently played on TV on the evening of 31 December 1999, at least in the UK (not sure about elsewhere). I was fortunate enough to hear this song before then in August 1999 in a church in the Ilse of Mann. Graham Kendrick was there preparing for the relese of the CD.
