You just have to setup a log in password and username for your mac. That's it.

ok i got it working. my macbook is named Nate (last name)'s Macbook

so in the username i put Nate (Last Name)

in the password i put the password to my computer

this should work..try it out tell me what you think

its your computer what you log in

Yes, your name and password to your computer. If you dont create a password for your computer, then it will not work.

Go to your system preferences and then click the sharing pane. Enable "Remote Login" for your user account. Then when you click "find my mac" on the app it should discover your computer. Input your credentials and you should be good to go.
