I had something like that happen to me yesterday. My horse refused a 2'3" vertical because he got scared and then jumped it at a standstill at a diagonal. I fell on his neck and he bolted around the arena and I was literally hugging his neck for about 1 minute while he galloped about. I had no stirrups and no reins. Then I sat back up and stopped him. I didn't fall because when you hate falling as much as I do, you try your hardest not to.

I did that once...on a little Arabian mare that looks shockingly like yours. Same star, legs...but I digress. There were other horses behind us in the line, so she just ambled away and kept her head up until I got off her shoulders. And then she decided that she'd done her good deed for the day, and was a total pain for the rest of the lesson.

she's not a bad rider, but not what I'd call amazing, she pulled the horse in the mouth which would obviously cause something bad to happen but if she falls of when its a bit different from what she'd expect of that jump she cant be 'amazing' as that can be not much bigger than 2ft at the most & I've seen people jump 4-5ft BAREBACK so someone show HER how she rides
