Don't complain unless you live in a mud hut. Almost every house is made of wood at least the roof. Way less trees are harvested today than at the beginning of the century because of railroad ties and bridges that were needed. And all those areas grew back (unless they were developed into subdivisions). Forestry rocks.

These hippies really don't understand the fact that lumber is one of the most eco-friendly building materials on the market, plus they have never heard of carbon sequestriation, logging is an important part of managing the health of our forests. Plus these folks making the comments most likely aren't even from timber-heavy areas.
