  • I'm so glad to see someone on tv say this

  • GB, worst president ever...

  • No Andrew Jackson was

  • I love you Cafferty!

  • "Where the hell is the water?"

uhhh... that was the problem, Jack lol.

  • @Atomikenrtia he's talking about WATER to drink Mr. Funnyman!

  • bush is a moron and was a puppet just as obama is a puppet. promises are made to get elected than broken to please the wealthy. bush showed no care for life, he should have reacted with every available boat, ship plain, or car. i dont care if it was only a dozen. what he allowed to happen in n.o. is just cowardly. obama should have responded much better to the oil spill as well. life and oil dont even come close to each other and if u cant see that ur an idiot like bush. we need a man in office.

  • @L2SB I agree with you on Bush, but not so much with Obama.

  • I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Mr. Cafferty when he was on channel 4 in upstate NY (with meteorologist Dr. Frank Field).

He was a class act even then...and this was over 30 years ago.

My respect for him never wavered...and this video goes a long way in showing why.

  • Bush was president durinq bad times . Lets not chose a fuck -up next time

  • the whole government and those powerful devils in the backround that u never see and never here about needs to be arrested strip of everything and killed all of them

  • @WTFARWEGONNADO Hoe do you kill a big business like Haliburton or BP?

  • The worst part is that the National Guard went door-to-door to disarm people so they couldn't defend themselves against looters!!!

  • the fucked up thing is the hurricane happened a year after Bush was voted in again. bush is disgusting

  • "Don't think the world isn't watching......"

    To late :P

  • The BP Oil Spill was bad because all of the oil went deep down to the bottom of the Gulf Of Mexico, it is impossible for all of it to be taken out of the Gulf given the fact that all of it is permanently under the Gulf. Katrina was a natural disaster, you can get any city back and perfect in the right place after a hurricane in about 4-6 years. So don't complain about Katrina you idiots, the Oil Spill is permanent and one of the worst tragedies that has ever happened.

  • @Speed7743 Wow. Are you actually making an argument that land is more important than life? Do you realize how horrible you sound? Death is PERMANENT. 1,800+ human souls perished in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Those lives can't be replaced, those people aren't coming back.

It's beyond childish to compare the BP oil spill to Hurricane Katrina. "So don't complain about Katrina"? Seriously? What is wrong with you?

  • @TavernWenchBlog I'm not saying hurricane katrina was nothing and an unimportant storm, I think it was a sad event and all the families who died deserve to go to heaven and be remembered, it was very tragic, but to this day people are still complaining about katrina and there is nothing you can do about it, you have to realize that any city hit by a hurricane can be brought back to normal with hard work after a few years, when you go to the gulf of mexico though, all you can smell is OIL,forever!

  • @TavernWenchBlog I applaud you sir for your answer although both of yo have a point yours was most valid in terms of human life...

  • @Speed7743 wow :(

  • @Speed7743 You called people idiots yet you are the inbred retard not caring about human life because of your KKK views. Fuck off. The complaining comes from the lack of quick response to the natural disaster. Black people are actually humans you hick.

  • @Speed7743 Big Oil responded to their disaster much like our govt reacted to Katrina...The 2 are 1 in the same...

  • I don't know how to explain how much respect I have for this guy. He needs some sort of medal and I'm being serious.

  • Their is only one advise i can give US citizens. Teach your presidents that they are presedints of the US, not the world and 90% of your problems will go away.

  • I'm 15 I've I like Jack Cafferty when he talks but wow. i've been watching him and he's serious...

  • How in the hell can you compare BP grap with Katrina people died because on the lack of response from BUSH and his people.

Now people did die because of the BP oil fuck up,but it dam sure didnt have nothing to do with Obama. To even compare the two events are so got dam dum it's insane.

  • This video is jsut another prime example why Bush is the WORST president ever to exist. Only cared about that stupid war. Everything else, which was more important, took a backseat. Cared more about his image than he did about people in New Orleans.

  • @StarFighters76

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Bush could not have taken attacked Iraq without the yes votes of 110 Democrat congressmen, including Hillary, Kerry, Edwards, Biden and Harry Reid.

  • Cafferty tells it like it is - You the man Jack.

  • This is how dumb the Reichwing can be......they can't tell the difference between a natural disaster and a man made one!!!!

But of course when it comes to the man-made disaster they {Reichwing } apologizes to the corporation for what went wrong....unlike the natural disaster, I didn't hear any apologies!

It's pretty sad when the politicians especially the Reich bows and apologizes to a corporation, at least now we know were they stand..... "Corporations come before People"

  • @acenace24 @acenace24 Besides Katrina having only geography in common with the BP Oil Spill (sorry, acenace24, but I don't recall 1,300 of our fellow Americans drowning to death during the BP Oil Spill, for one), what's really amazing about your comment is that you implore everyone to do some "God damn research" while falsely claiming that Congress has been controlled by Democrats since 2004.

Try 2006 (the year after Katrina). Take your own advice & do some research next time, maybe?

  • @acenace24 And you know, if you really want to get technical about it, the 110th Congress was elected in November of 2006 but they (and Speaker Pelosi) weren't sworn in until January of 2007. So you're three years off.

  • @acenace24 dosent anyone know that you should shut the hell up !,obama didnt let black people suffer ,he also dont make jokes like the gop does about poor black people ,they left them behind cause they were balck ,think bush and the gop would leave yo ass behind or any rich or middle class person ,no ,now I know after listening to the racist remarks from the gop ,that they actually left these poor black people die ,quit dreaming that gops can ever like black people anyway def not poor ones

  • @acenace24 YEAH U KNOW WAT FUCK U JUST FUCK U

  • Yeah I agree, this country hasn't been the same since President Clinton was in office. When he was in office we didn't have half of the problems we're having now.

  • @acenace24 How can you compare oil spill on the ocean to a Hurricane destroying a city full of people? Yeah you inbred hick, African Americans are people too.

  • @acenace24

    two obvious differences...

in one case Bush could have actually done something to directly save lives..Sean Penn was physically there helping people....

what did you expect Obama to do?!?.. dive into the water and personally plug the hole...bring a bucket and start collecting the oil himself??!?!!

the fact you can even compare the two is mind boggling...you are a moron.. its statements like these that give American a bad reputation for being dumb...

  • ive never seen cafferty lose his cool like he did in this

  • Why are we talking about Katrina when there are thousands and thousands of people dying, desperate and homeless due to the floods in China and Pakistan? I'm getting damned tired of these endless "anniversaries" of this, that and whatever. We can rejoice that New Orleans has recovered from its hurricane, but enough is enough. The US is not the center of the universe.

  • @dyad2r1 Though I agree with your overall idea, the saddest part of Katrina is so much could have been done but wasn't, its barely rebuilt now! China is and should be well capable of looking after its people, if it doesn't that is another katrina-eque disgrace. Pakistan is at the mercy of those who wish to exploit it, such as religious fundamentalists, rebels. With a lack of funds in pakistan to deal with what they've been dealt, its a different tragedy, but also a very dangerous world.

  • @GULFGYPSY: Typical of a Rightwinger to try and somehow roll President Obama into the Katrina thing..And you wonder why America has rejected the GOP...You had more Fonts to use why not at least put Clinton into your post? you had nothing to lose by doing so..But you never had anything to begin with..

  • we have to get along r we all will perish...peace y'all ... FUCK BP!!

  • Embarrassing is the right word.

  • In his first week in office, Barack Obama did the following: 1.Froze the salaries for top White House staff members. This is a largely symbolic act, but might be an important one. 2. Set a deadline for the closing of Guantanamo Bay. Some of his supporters would say this is a great thing because they believe it operates as something from the Dark Ages.

  • thank you Jack!

  • So why isn't this same sort of outrage being expressed over the slow response by obama? For the most part all obama has done is find time for photo-ops, vacations, golf, cocktail parties and the odd bit of actual work since the oil spill disaster has ocurred.

  • @gulfgypsy Maybe because 1,000+ people haven't died? Maybe because it's a completely different crisis altogether? The only thing Hurricane Katrina and the BP Gulf Disaster have in common is geography.

  • @TavernWenchBlog racism has nothing in common ,its just plain old hate thats all

  • @gulfgypsy I am so sick and tired of the cloak of hate and ignorance that blankets this country. We just got out of eight years of a total dictatorship and you people expect a miracle. Bush drove this country in parts of the world in the ground and we let him do it. Where was the outrage then? What about him waging unjustified wars??? This is for all your non independent thinkers out there. You want to know what Obama has done ...lets just start with his first week in office....

  • @gulfgypsy 3rd thing he has done in his first week: 3. Fast-tracked the process to apply new fuel standards to 2011 car models AND initiated steps to allow California to set its own standards for auto emissions that are stricter than that of the Federal government. Again, this is a measure that some of his supporters hail as a grand step forward, while his detractors (or flamers) point out that it could provide an additional severe drag on the economy, especially in car manufacturing areas.

  • @gulfgypsy Three more things Obama has done in his first week of office : 4th Signed a detailed executive order to ban torture and inhumane treatment of prisoners.

5th Asked the military leadership to engage in additional planning necessary to execute a responsible military draw down from Iraq.

6tth: Released the interrogation memos without consulting the Bush staff and/or Bush about it. And they were only partially released some of the information in the memos were not made public.

  • @gulfgypsy This is the 8th thing that Obama has did in the first week of office: 8th Signed an executive order that restored a 30-day time frame for former presidents to review records before they are released. It also eliminated the right for the vice president or family members of former presidents to do the reviews.

  • @gulfgypsy The ninth thing that Obama has done in the first week of office. NUMBER 9 Signed an executive order that requires that appointees sign forms saying that they were not hired because of political affiliations or contributions. This is far from an unbeatable measure, but is an important early step towards cleaning up governmental hiring policies. It is easier to prove someone lied when their signature is right next to the statement in question.

  • @gulfgypsy THE NEXT TWO THINGS THAT OBAMA HAS DONE SINCE BEING IN OFFICE NUMBER 10: Signed an order banning gifts from lobbyists and banning anyone from working in an agency they had lobbied in previous years. Promptly made the order toothless by immediately granting a waiver to a former defense lobbyist. NUMBER 11. Lifted a ban on giving federal money to international groups that perform abortions or provide abortion information.

  • @gulfgypsy 12TH THING THAT OBAMA HAS DONE: 12TH Granted his first TV interview as president to Al-Arabiya, a channel described as a "voice of moderation" to the Middle East. His supporters call this a very smart move to help angered nations and groups feel a bit less cast aside, and let them know that they need not resort to violence to be made a part of the world discussion.

  • @gulfgypsy Those examples that I gave you are just the things that were done in his first week of office. . AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM AND ITS IS CALLED RACISM. DEEP DOWN WE KNOW THAT ITS NOT ABOUT OBAMA DOING ENOUGH. IT IS MORE ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE IS A BLACK MAN IN THE OVAL OFFICE. I HAVE ANOTHER LIST OF THINGS THAT OBAMA HAS DONE IN THE LAST YEAR IN OFFICE. LET ME KNOW WHEN YOUR READY TO SEE THE FACTS !!! IF YOU ARE A TRUTH SEEK, ONLY A SIMPLE SEARCH WILL NEED TO BE DONE. BUT I DOUBT THAT U R !

  • @MzSiddiqui that's true, there is a huge problem with blacks being racist in this country.

  • @MaximusRelaximus Blacks being racist??!! That's not what I said....it was the opposite.

  • most americans think that only rich people deserve help when they get in trouble. if you're poor and get into trouble, you can go ^$#@ yourself, u're only getting what you deserve. maybe America should have thought about this stuff B4 they gave Bush a second term.

  • I. Love. Jack. Cafferty.

  • @ HighPacheCheif ::: fuck you that was one of the worst natural disasters in the world! Ur such a rascist and if you were in Katrina u would know how bad it really was and u wouldn't be saying that. GO DIE AND DO EVERYOnE A favor asshole

  • Bush took responsibility for all of the problems in recovery at the federal level, Blanco did the same at the state level, and Nagin, the city's mayor, waited 24 hours before landfall to declare a mandatory evacuation and allowed dozens of buses to sit idle in flood zones.

  • Wasn;t Bush, It was the government in general.

  • bush = epic fail

  • bush = epic Son of a bitch

  • Sad truth is both parties are inept. The Democratic staff of the House of Representatives Committee on Govt. Reform indicated that 3 million for 4,000 camp beds were never used. 10 million spent to renovate military barracks used by 6 occupants. (1.5 per person) A contract with 3 main suppliers to supply temp. roofs (blue tarps) at a cost of 300 million. The contractors subcontracted the jobs out.....continued

  • A study showed a tiered contract was 1700% higher than the jobs actual cost. The average taxpayers cost was 2,480 per roof for a job that should of cost 300. Govt. bought 24,967 manufactured homes & 1,775 modular homes for 915 million & only 4,600 manufactured fomes had been used. All due to the lack of govt. oversight.... Yeah we need govt. run healthcare for sure.

  • yea giving people food and water IS alot easier and they didnt do that too well now did they?

  • @gauchohat LA was not told that evac was necessary until the last second. we were told everything was fine. getting out of New Orleans can take over 2 hrs on a normal day, imagine an evac. not to mention employees of the centers that were holding the people through the hurricane and told that if they were to evacuate they would lose their jobs. if u are raising a family and city jobs are scarce, u have no choice. or people who lost grandparents bc they were too sick to move. do NOT blame them

  • Comment removed

  • @gauchohat Actually, they were only given the mandatory evac. notice 17 hours before landfall. New Orleans isn't some hick town, so evacuating a million or so people in that short period is no easy task. A lot of those that stayed COULDN'T leave; they were old, sick, no transportation, etc. I think if Nagin, Blanco, and the Feds would have gotten their head out of THEIR ass and planned accordingly KNOWING it was coming (when it was hitting the Miami area), this could've been avoided.

  • Yeah, that's ALWAYS a good excuse and wise reasoning too! It was their own fault....therefore they SHOULD suffer. Hell they don't even deserve fucking dry biscuits and water! After all...that's valuable helicopter fuel to be going "over there"! Which is more important? Some lower class minorities or helicopter fuel?? Hmmm? Come on people! NEITHER! Why get riled up over suffering AFRICAN Americans? It's payback for all the crime. After all...they should have chosen to live in Palm Beach!

  • Most of them couldnt afford it and had nowhere to go FAGGOT

  • you sound a little bit like a nazi.

  • @gauchohat read a book most of new orleans is truely above see leval

  • Can't Do Right ....By Your Woman.... You Have To Be ....The Badest Man.... In Taylor Suits... Fastest Car.... Fly Around The World... Biggest Business ...But Loss Your Woman.... But Still He's Badest And He Is Badest... Burn In Hell.... Burn In Hell

  • Ah, Katrina. another huge black eye on the Bush presidency.

  • the goverment couldnt handle katrina but we suppose to think they can handle universal health care!!! yea right. this country is going down the tubes

  • @sandhilldiva You are comparing apples and oranges. Handling Katrina should have been easier to handle, just give people food and water.

  • I heard Jack left CNN just a few days ago ! That was one guy who spoke his mind and on CNN he will be missed. He was not the type to sugar coat stuff and I think he was really refreshing ! Gonna miss ya'...Mr Cafferty ! Good luck to you.

  • @Tm30w06 Nope, I saw him on cnn yesterday. Where did you hear that?

  • God where the heck did I hear that ? Ok so if its not him who the heck just left?? Man I thought that popular guy in the afternoon situation room said he was leaving ? Wow maybe I heard wrong because he seems like a great guy so if I'm wrong hopefully he sticks around awhile!

  • Man did I hear that wrong !! I was thinking him and I think they were talking about Lou Dobbs on CNN. Right? It was Lou Dobbs who left. Oh well

  • he's right. and this is coming from a conservative news station.

  • if this was the obama administration hed be blamed for causing a hurricane and applauded at the same time for failing the country

  • Jack Cafferty is one true american and stands up for all races

  • DAMN RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This whole thing was fucked up to begin with, getting prepared for a storm like that. I remembered watching news stories about this storm potentially hitting the area hard on CNN and the Weather Channel. I couldn't believe how nonchalant and arrogant all forms of government were relating to this. I live in a hurricane-proned area, and this kind of attitude is usually not tolerated in getting ready for a storm like Katrina was. And props to Cafferty for telling it like it was.

  • Bush will be remembered for setting up FEMA, led by what felt like Larry, Moe, and Curly, and for fucking up preparations for a disaster like this. But I will say this also. It's New Orleans' and the states of Louisiana's and Mississippi's fault too for being way too lax and lazy in preparing for a major hurricane like that. I don't care if that region is below sea level, that region (and the Federal Government) should have known already that this are is a huge storm risk.

  • Jack hit the nail on the head on this one.

  • President Bush.. what a disastrous presidency.

  • No trouble telling there's no oil in New Oreleans!

  • @dsspike51 yes there is, the people were in the way

  • The worse thing is that other countries offered help and the Bush administration turned them down.

  • At the 2:11 mark, Jack says "This storm happened 5 days ago"

In the Katrina aftermath, many reporters made similar false claims. Geraldo, Shep, etc

I'm not saying it wasn't hell on earth, but these TV people carelessly exaggerated, just like now with the swine flu.

Katrina hit New Orleans 8/29, 3 days before Jack's remarks. It wasn't until 8/30, TWO days before these remarks, that the devastation was revealed.

2 days, not 5, is a significant detail. But facts don't matter when bashing Bush.

  • No, because for the most part, no matter how hard you stretch it, it doesn't really exaggerate how bad the situation was.

  • Storm winds hit Sunday evening. The eye made it to Plaquemines Parish early Monday morning.

  • Hurricane winds started Sunday night, continued into Monday morning.

    Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday.

    I count 5 days.

  • your a fucking moron ,you dont get what he refered to , so shut the fuck up

  • Jack Cafferty is a boob who was run out of NY because he is a 200 year old fossil who lost his step years ago. Now he feels the neeed to be the "angry anchor" as a means to keep his job. The game passed him by years ago. Hang em up Jack. NY will always remember you but let it go.

  • We can always depend on a Texan to come up with ignorant post like this,

  • What's ignorant about my comment? It's very good advice...

If I'm ignorant, you're an idiot.

  • Once the city was flooded and totally disabled even if it had had a good mayor he would not have been able to do much. Once those levees broke it became the governments problem. This was a city of a half million people with a million more in the suburbs. It had 600,000 non farm jobs. This is a city in the US and the way the government handled it was beyond horrible. I don't care what race, or who you voted for shouldn't anyone have to go 5 days without food on an interstate anywhere in the US

  • Regardless of who was responsible for what happened in N.O., this is not something that should've happened in the U.S. We are not a 3rd world country. I do think that if it indeed was inaction on the part of the state that caused this, the federal government should've stepped in immediately & fixed it.

  • Katrina was a Federal Emergency, Bush dropped the ball.

  • See in the United States, the states have their own rights...one of which is the primary care of their citizens during the course of Natural Disasters. Hence the myriad of state programs designed to meet such a need.

If federal aid is required, the governor MUST request it. Fema just rolling into LA would have been a violation of State Rights.

  • I think the footage of civilians stuck on their rooftops calling for help would supercede all violation of state and federal rights. Sometimes the truth is just blatently obvious. Do you really believe the city of New Orleans would have objected to rescuing it's people from rooftops????????

  • The request for aid DID NOT get to the white house or fema in a timely manner thanks to those libtard morons Nagin and his puppet master, Blanco.

  • Do me and yourself a huge favor eviscero. Research Michael Brown's resume and tell me why he was appointed to the head of FEMA by President Bush. Tell us all what you discover. If the farmer falls asleep watching the sheep, the wolf is free to slaughter the flock. Where we cannot blame Katrina on President Bush, we can blame him for handing the keys of FEMA over to a completely inept oil CEO.

  • you obviously were either still in Middle School or completely stupid when this happened. The mayor was screaming for help. The President did nothing. The goddamn MAYOR said it was bad. The President and his self appointed oil buddy Michael Brown (who knew nothing about disaster management) did nothing.

  • no he is not.

  • Jack is how all journalists should be, should be objective and neutral and stick to the facts and give ppl the truth. he is truly amazing for being like this still in this age of Bush Terror.

  • im bored on cam

    comment me back JT

  • So you watched this VID showing ppl that lost their lives & everything that they owned & all you could say is I'm BORED. O.o

Stupid is, is Stupid does......You should not even open your mouth to yawn w/ignorance like that! If you are BORED w/cam, Why would you watch?

  • Trying to get a bunch of ppl that are not sympathetic to a City being destroyed is MOOT!

    Ignorance is bliss...............

    But, I wouldn't speak on what I don't know...

  • This is my city that was virtually destroyed. I lost my home, family members, and friends so don't give me the ignorance is bliss crap. I was there for the entire ordeal and I'm still here so I think I know a little bit about this. The city had an evacuation plan in place that would have been free to anyone who used it, but the clowns in the N.O city gov't failed to implement it in time so all the buses flooded. This disaster would have been averted had competent city leadership been involved.

  • Look Dude, that comment was for someone else you & I have already saw each others views so fuck off! That was my City too! The comment was not for you! Back the fuck off & get your life str8 like I'm fighting to, but no more comments in my box! I lost Too!!!!!!!!!!

  • We already resolved this get a life & stay out of mine....

What is wrong with you? How can you respond to a week & a 1/2 comment................PEACE

  • I apologize for "LOSING IT", but you & I resolved this & spoke on our pathetic MAYOR! Did you forget? We both hurt & NO ONE cares other than us~~~~~~~~~~~~~PEACE

  • @fredlburrows Not to mention that many people who were very ignorant to the FEDERAL WARNINGS FOR EVACUATION IN THE FACE OF A CATEGORY FIVE HURRICANE chose to stay and "ride out the storm". Honestly, I feel sympathy for those who took the initiative and left beforehand and were relocated in Houston, etc. Those that chose to stay (which made up a vast majority of the populous) after being warned extensively, I have not shed a tear for them and I will burn in a thousand hells before I start...

  • @OrochiGeese7 Maybe the people who stayed behind didn't have the finances to travel. Maybe they didn't have family members out of state in order to contact. Maybe they had family members in hospitals who could not be released. Maybe they didn't have televisions or radios in order to notify them of the seriousness of the hurricane. Or just maybe, they didn't have transportation in order to travel. I'm pretty sure that the people who stayed had a good reason.

  • Co- Sign With You @mikaelia0724 We wasn't notified until it was to late to leave and most didn't have a way out, but you don't have to explain to the haters that hound youtube dear let then have there opinion if they like.

  • @bayoubaby504 Wasn't notified until it was too late? Selective memory, much?

  • @OrochiGeese7 Doesn't have to be a selective memory for me, I went through it. I know first hand what I saw, heard, and know. So don't come at me with the BS choose somebody else ty

  • @OrochiGeese7 happy burning then

  • NO is my hometown, and to see that jackass of a federal goverment doing nothing back in 2005 insulted not only me and my family but everyone around the country.

  • Ditto! Peace & Love

  • The ppl that were victimized in this terrible hurricane had no voice. We were their voice and we abandoned them. Shame on America.

  • You GO jack baby!!! tell it like it is ! AMEN!

  • I am definitely liking Cafferty's realism and how he expresses it so bluntly

  • Here Here, this is an utter and pitiful disgrace. This NEVER should have happened in the first place. The levees should have been repaired before they the Feds took the money away for the war. I hope Bush gets his just deserts someday and may his next lives be haunted. Rot in Hell you SOB

  • Jack cafferty is my hero

  • Not made by Al Qaeda, try HAARP

  • Hurricane Katrina was made by Al Qaeda xD

  • Jack Cafferty. The People's Champ

  • Kudos to Jack Cafferty for saying the things that people are scared to say. The handling of the Katrina catastrophe was an absolute disgrace, and will always be an inherent part of Bush's legacy as president.

  • No, it was a failure of the local corrupt government of LA. NO is used to having hurricanes, it is the fact that the governor and the mayor wouldnt step up to the plate and handle the catastrophe instead of arguing with eachother. New Orleanians don't blame GW Bush, them blame the local govt, who was the first line of defense for such a disaster and they failed miserably, and instead of taking the criticism, they wanted to shift the blame to someone else.

  • Listen to who he's addressing. When a city is destroyed the Government is also responsible.

I guess only 9/11 deserved all eyes because "The President's" attention, huh?

  • Think about this, school buses in New Orleans pick up more kids each day than the total amount of unevacuated ppl in N.O. during Katrina. Why weren't the buses used? Because the city government fucked up badly.

  • Now that DUDE, I'm with you 100%! It just seemed like your statement was racist, now that

NO ONE can dispute...It hurtz because I lost family, friends & life as I knew it. I will also agree w/ Nagin coming on Saturday w/a mandatory evac. Nagin is a snake! It was also said that N.O. does not have a SHELTOR! O.o

Are they serious? So no harm intended, but great point!

  • Nah, I'm not prejudiced, I love everybody's company until they give me a reason not to. I love our city even with its many, many problems.

I just like to let ppl know N.O govt fucked its people over bad.

I'm hurting with you, I lost people in the storm as well. Some family members of mine were in the dome through it all, that ordeal was beyond awful from what they say.

You're right, Nagin is a snake. He started out positive but when Katrina hit, he turned into an indecisive fool.

  • To be honest I did not want him to be in the OFFICE from the beginning! The 2nd time I was outraged that Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson helped him get in using the RACE card...that's BS!!! Indecisive is totally accurate. He was a business man (COX CABLE) what did he really know...

  • You had it right from the beginning then. Ya know what should have been a sign not to go with Nagin? Ever deal with Cox Cable? They are beyond incompetent sometimes.

  • i love jack. and i always agree with him. he's so gutsy! this shit was an outrage, but i cant help but chuckle at "how come nobody will drop down sandwiches?" like, it's not funny...but it is. lmao. fuck bush, he's a racist son of a bitch.

  • Yeah those images of people with signs saying Help us isn't good.

  • Democrats and Repoublicans they both suck and ack Cafferty is an idiot too

  • the point is that "she is doing better than expected" is a fucking joke. its the second most powerful job in the country and was entirely at the discretion of john mccain, and his choice was solely a PR stunt that he only hopes will make him win. she's the best choice for a campaign that totes "country first"? her need to practice is the exact definition of not being ready. i dont know how it has been spun any other way

  • whiteliberalvet, do you feel the same after watching her performance in the VP debate?

For example, I might vote her in as County Dogcatcher, if she actually said what she might do about the pet population, rather than talking about how much she, Todd and the kids love dogs and how they, like, adopted a couple of them.

She's the Queen of Jibberish Horsecrap.

  • Katrina was proof that this administration simply doesn't care about Black people. I can assure all of you that if Barack was president when this happened, those folks in Orleans would not have been treated like that. Barack values all people, regardless of their color.

  • Absolutely wrong, the government of New Orleans is ALL BLACK and they let their OWN people suffer and die. IF you lived in NO, you might have a better perspective on the situation. New Orleans BLACK leadership FALIED NO and let the city suffer. Dont believe the propaganda, it was the fault of New Orleans leadership and ONLY new Orleans leadership.

  • Sorry to correct yet, my govenor is a white female...don't speak on what you don't know..its ignorant~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~peace

    He is the president~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~love

  • Re-read the above posting, where do I mention the governor? And don't you mean that your governor WAS a white female. Now your govorner is an Indian Male.

And don't get me started on Blanco, she is just as bad as Nagin.

  • Since reading & comprehending is hard for some, I did not say you said I have/had a "White Governor", if you speak on the politicians in N.O. call them all black, I'm making you aware that there wass a "White" Governor O.o

Now you say an Indian Male, so how is it an "ALL" black government? This I also must point out was 3& a 1/2 yrs. ago and BLANCO, was in ofc.....I sincerely don't care what you get started on ,because you nor I get paid for our thoughts....PEACE

  • God help us all if the world is full of more numbskulls like John McCain and George Bush, AND his daddy.

  • the Feds were such racist assholes during the first few days after Katrina struck. They didn't give a DAMN about what was goin' on down there; it was like they didn't even count it, and it was supposed to be the worst hurricane since Camille in 1969, i think. That was just outrageous how the Feds did the people living in New Orleans. Another hurricane after Katrina would have been the last thing they needed. They'd have been wiped out!

  • They should have threatened not to pay thier taxes, they would have got immediate attention.

  • White people live there too!!!

  • If you think that was bad, wait 'til McCain becomes president.
