Two mechanical marvels from the top dogs in the industry. The A346 was designed to knock the 747 of it´s throne but didn´t quite complete that mission. But which ever one you prefere is just simple a matter of taste really...

However my fav by far is the A330-200/300

The A340 looks so much more sturdy and stronger than the 747 for some reason! The wings are soooo slender. The 747 looks like the wings are gonna fall off the way it flexes like that! Still an incredible plane though! LIKE LIKE LIKE IT! :)

@rambonlenie wooow dude...its called revers thrust it reverses the flow of the engines exhaust to help slow the aircraft on some planes the revers thrust is so powerful it can back up the plane at extremely high speeds espesially since its backing

Looks really great when the go for reverse on all 4 engines with the flaps on the 346. Futuristic almost...To get theese two gigants(by the same company at that)on final approach and lined up one after the other truly deserves some credit.

Compared to the A380 they are poetry in motion....

i remember seeing one of the a340's landing at bwi airport in baltimore, md when i worked for southwest airlines.. and that plane was FUCKING HUGE!!! it got diverted because of bad weather, but still really nice plane!!
