i have TWO broken 6800gt. one is a agp and the other is pcie. Niether of them turn on. No life at all. I wish i could repair mine! the pcie lost a cap D:
The agp just stopped working. Fans dont even run...
I tried the oven trick on both with no success! I keep them for memories :'(
Dude, its easy to fix that color problem. you need to carefully wash that some transistors and what not with alcohol 70% or higer first. than put it in a high tempature area or use hair drying to heat it up. easiest way to reset those pieces.
i had the exacly same looking card but it was like just bigger cooling! and dual slot edition! but it looked like this exacly! and mine was an PCI Express :) and i run all games on decent settings up to 2009 :)
@theDante1101 it really does, for something to cost $400+ 7 years ago and now cost $0... it hurts.. :/ ill miss my 6800gt!!
