I have a number of health conditions and disabilities and was extra large when I went to china as a result of chemotherapy. This video was intended to share the joy and experience I had meeting such wonderful creatures, not to say "please abuse me".

When I was 14, I went back to my native SiChuan and visited Wolong. I had a 6-month old panda on my lap and he started gnawing on my shoulder. I was terrified but it didn't really hurt. It was a terrifying but extremely cute situation.

I was born in Sichuan， where pandas are from. My dad told me when he was a kid, pandas showed up frequently in our local mountains. But the fast industrialization since 1980s destroyed their habitat in our county， pandas couldn't find enough bamboos, then they had to eat wheat, corn even bamboo rats, in the end they sadly left their home for bamboo forest. Thanks for the establishment of Wolong Reserve and the mandatory conversion of farmland to forest, now pandas can get enough food

I volunteered using an agency, can't remember who, but you can apply directly to the reserve. Google for Wolong panda club I think. I'm not sure what state the reserve is in after the earthquake though.

I am Charlee. It's my video from when I fulfilled a lifetime dream of volunteering at the Wolong Panda reserve. Sitting with the toddlers and playing with the babies was a major treat to end the experience. People may focus on how large I am, but right then having gone through chemotherapy for suspected Crohns disease, and being very very ill, it was the last thing on my mind.
