Geez, I was in my 20s during the disco era and was quite a fan of the genre, yet I have absolutely no memory of this song at all. Growing up in New York, I don't remember this song ever being played on either WKTU or WBLS, which back then were arch-rivals with Saturday-night disco shows (Kiss FM didn't launch until 1980).

Actually, his real name was Peter Kamp, and he died in January of this year.
