  • where can you get a car like this?

  • well iv got a tamiya nissan skyline and my brother threw it in are pond wick is only nee deep and it still works

  • I'm happy to see finaly a Defender on a Tamiya highlift chassis, I think is not a great crawling but the best and solid chassis one can find, and you proved worked perfectly offroad.

  • Thanks. I'm glad you liked the video.

  • hey, thats a ace remote control car. is there any chance of you selling it. i would pay up to £300

  • HAHa The Boyz N The Hood Song! Nice Vid!

  • Hi , new video

    i have 4 questions

    1.how much the car costs?

2.When you buy the car is it waterproof or you have to waterproof it

3.How much min lasts the car battry if it is battry is charged to max time?

4.what is the maximum time that the car can charge?

Btw the video just amazing, but ur

    suspension needs some flex.

    But still great!!!

  • nice i mean at the first :P

  • 1. depending on the time thats put into the truck and what parts are used, its anywhere from $430 to $800, 2. the old tamiya's used to be waterproof, not sure about the new ones, but it is easy to waterproof them. 3. depends on the battery, you can run almost a full day on a lipo battery, or you can run for 2 hours on your standard NIMH or NICD battery, depends on how much money you want to spend 4. depends on your charger....15 minutes to 4 hours....and the suspension is supposed to be that way

  • Haha, thanks... it's a Tamiya Highlift... they don't flex!!!

To be fair it was a bit bound up in this vid.. it's a lot better now!!

    Cheers.

  • where do you get the shell from?

  • The shell is an HPI Defender 90, with a custom made styrene hard top.

  • it seems water proof

  • lol 1:20 the mud looks like chocolate

  • fro where do you buy that

  • It's custom, the is only one in the world like it. Can't buy it... unless you offer me lot's of £££'s!!! LOL

  • ill gove you £20 for it!!

  • if its homemade, what did u use for motor and rc?

  • ew muddy

  • wow,looks like a real defender!!!

  • Great model kit.

  • where do you buy one of those?

  • at 1:13 it looks like its goin to a thick crap...eww!! just kidding anyways!

  • 1:00!

    OOOHHHH YEEAAHH!

  • LOL, thanks.

  • pretty nice defender keep doing more videos

  • Thanks. I haven't done a vid for ages... must get out there and do a new one!!!

  • VERY NICE!!

  • THANKS !!!

  • is that music from boyz in da hood?

  • Can't be... that music would be copyrighted... this is most definately copyright free music....

Guess who had a bunch of vids removed by youtube!!! :(

  • where did you buy this

  • it's a Tamiya High Lift that I got on ebay. It has a HPI Defender 90 body on it.

  • nice video!!

  • Thanks!

  • traxas makes waterproof servos and just oil down the motor really well

  • Hmmm... be careful not to get oil on your motor's brushes.

I find a drop of oil on each bearing is sufficient.

  • where can you get one in vancouver b.c.?

  • these are hobby grade rc's you have to build them. there are scale kits such as the axial scx10 or tamiya highlift- they are also competition crawlers ex: axial ax10(rtr rtc artr), venom creeper, kyosho rock force you can buy these online or at your local hobby store

  • traxxas makes waterproof servos and just iol down the motor really

  • What Chassis and body is that? and how do you water proof the motor and servos?

  • Please could you tell me how to make the body mod?

  • i would give anything to have that!!!!!

  • LOL. Make me an offer.

    Everything has its price!!!

  • LMFAO isnt this the theme in boyz n the hood when his buddy gets gunned down???

  • like the video, try adding a 35 turn moter with 20tooth pinion gear ,if u havent yet

  • Hi, thanks for the comment.

I run the Bamatech belt drive conversion, so changing pinions isn't really an option. But it has 3 speeds, so I can change on the go.

I run either a 27t for wheel speed, or a 55t for crawling.

    Cheers.

  • yo im getting a crawler soon, my question is how u water proof them?

  • where did you get it from

  • lol if i was goin through deep mud with my rc id be screwed cuz my rc is a pro pulse truck and its really low to the ground and small but i suppose maybe if i go fast enough ill skip across the water lol

  • Do it. Make sure you have the video camera rolling first tho!!!! :)

  • oh yeah definatly when the camera is rolling lol

  • i had one of those thing tey are a very good truck till you get in the water they are fun thpught

  • england (nottingham)

  • yh were u get it from

  • eBay.. anywhere that sells Tamiya stuff. Which country are you in?

  • what is the song

  • That would be a copyright free song.

It would definately not be 'Black On Black Crime' by Stanley Clarke, from the Boys N The Hood Soundtrack, even if it sounds a little similar.

  • is it that??

    tnx for the fast respond:)

  • ;-)

  • nice 1 mate were u get it from i want one for crimbo?

  • It's a Tamiya Hi Lift with a modified HPI Defender 90 body shell on it.

The wheels are Pro Line 8-Shooter Beadlocks and the tyres are Geolanders.

  • I guess its electric but how did you waterproof the servos and radio gear?

  • looks better with the roof on it how did you make it?
