For one handed typing, swype wins hands down. Also, swyping has an easier learning curve that is probably more suited to a larger population...but double handed typing does win if you're very accurate. PS, I love swype...I do both depending on the situation. Swype 3.0 gives me options. :-)

Swype is so awful. I've used it for three months and finally downloaded Swift Key X, which is amazing. Swype has no technology to look at your writing pattern and constantly made mistakes. I always got the wrong your/you're or too/to. It always confused out/put/our/it. It was just a disaster and not customizable at all. Swift Key X knows exactly what I want to say, even when I'm only at like 25% accuracy and being super-sloppy. It has tons of custom features. Ditch Swype. Loving Swift Key X.
