Roxy Music are one of the founders of Glam Rock. Huge change was made on the bands melodys after Brian Eno fled.The ambient sound from the bands music was gone.I concider the debut album one of the best albums ever compiled.

do you think the first roxy albums sound ambient? I like For Your Pleasure, but the Eno albums aren't necessarily better than the three albums after his departure. Eddie Jobson was (and is) a phenomenon in his own right. Out Of The Blue....fantastic. The major change came in the late seventies and early 80s. I can't listen to that.

Does anyone know where I can find BittersEnd by Roxy Music on the internet? Everyone on YouTube deleted it. There's also a version done by Andy Mackay from the Velvet Goldmine soundtrack, but I can't find it either. Thanks, I appreciate any help you can give.

I checked through youtube aswell, and found nothing but deleted videos of 'BittersEnd'.

I Limewired it, and only one, yes, just ONE file came up.

I DL'd it, threw it to a picture, and am uploading it as i type.

I hope its good enough for ya man.

Oh! And because its been a while since I've heard either version, i am not even sure if this is the Roxy Music or Velvet Goldmine version. Its on its way none the less...
