Chuffin hell....I remember this set. Among the first festivals I went to. Had a right laugh, luckily avoided the water, and was shited throughout. Arse of a hitch home to Glos though.

loads of people become ill at this fetival coz someone put the carcass of a dead sheep in one of the water bowsers!

I remember the only toilets on the site being closed down due to the chances of an out break of botulism and listeria.... The sauna tent, the double dipped bloaters, the traveler's field, cut up cars, motor bikes and buses, the buses being raffled.....Hawkwind, 2000DS, The Magic Mushroom Band, The Ozerics.... My car being broken into and trashed and getting stopped on the way home, lost in Oxford, being stopped by the Police for driving through a pedestrianized shopping centre at 50 mph...

remember this fezzie, was well hot, dusty, people all over 3 fields and up on the moors,massively over populated and also massively underestimated by local o/b. anyone recall the huge wild west rumble with a local security crew? and people paying for baked spuds even tho they were parked in a potato field! lmao,, and the canopy going up in flames as hawkwind played? R.I.P. scouse who died during this festival,

Glastonbury 1989 first festival, picked litter and all the acid you could imagine, then on to Treworgy, carefree days indeed! It was dusty, does anybody remember the big white dome, i think it was meant to be showers? I remember Hawkwind for sure and lots of sunshine and on the sunday arumour something was gonna kick off? I never saw anything. Just glad i was at the first Acid House event in Britian, cause it was :) Met some great people, especially 'Puss In Boots & Specs, Scotty here ya bass xx

I remember! Thay was my rig. Me n Steve Rose. That was The PleasureDome! Best place on site though I say it m'self! The Toilet cleaner at our set up was totally off his head on acid for the whole gig. We had the cleanest porter cabin on site. he even washed the soap bars!!! x x x

it was too fkin hot, there was no water, took half hour to walk 100 yards, ran out of food fags smoke money petrol beer shoes trashed. apart from that it was briliant.

Oh man, this brings back memories! What a fucked up festival this was. Dead sheep in the water tank, police acting like utter tossers, but some really great performances.

I was there too - although don't remember it as being particularly 'nice' - it was heaving with obnoxious coppers and even more obnoxious members of the 'Peace Convoy' and what a fucking misnomer that was! My mate had his tent ruin over by a landrover and two others got hauled up before local magistrates on trumped-up drug charges. Music was good - otherwise SHITE!
