the story is true. but in real life her sons friend was struck by lighting while on vacation at 8. she wrote that to help him cope. if she made it imaginary, it wouldn't be true or meaningful.

It's a movie with a real message!I think all kids should see this,and really think, do you really want to grow up too fast and lose your imagination completely? And this movie has ment a lot to my littlebrother,it gave him his life back,in a way,he can go out and play now,we haven't totally lost him in the computer world! Amazing movie,great script and actors!

ik i love how this movie show people how amazing and fun your imaganation can be! after i saw this movie i acully started think how much time i spend in front of the TV and computer! this movie also shows how short life can be and i think that the way leslie died was not good but it could have been worse like she could have died and been remebered as a tvholic! i love this movie amazing job putting this together!!!

It is a very good movie xcept the part where josh's "dad" says "I don't know everthing about God, but I do know that won't send that little girl to Hell." because if your not saved, and in the movie at least she wasn't I don't know about the book, you will go to Hell. however AnnaSophia herself is saved so whatever.

mattderrenson, i feel so sorry for you that your friend killed himself. many of my friends cut themselves and i fear they will do that too. if people took the time to realize how important they are, problems like this would not exist.

I dont get this. I hadn't seen in him in three or four years and yet news of his suicide devastated me. He was one of the best friends I ever had. Losing someone you love hurts. RIP Curtis Toews.

i am in love with josh but its so sad when she dies at the end.this is a lovely vid and i think all the people dissing her and other celebs are just mean disgusting bullies and they should learn to be supportive and they should be so much more mature.i personally think that annasophia rob and josh hutcherson are some of the best actresses/actors to come on screen.
