@glh104753 - Honestly, I think her attitude was just that she didn't like the court's time being wasted. 16 similar cases were dismissed across the country along the similar line of standing. The lawyers that prosecute these cases keep filing them in separate jurisdictions in order to keep their press exposure (and donations up).

Judge Carter raised an interesting political question in the lower court, and I think the other judges wanted to explore it. The case has no chance though.

@AmericanBornWest - That's a very good question. The reason is because only a candidate of a current election has proper standing to challenge another candidate in the same election on eligibility. Until Barrack Obama is officially the Democratic nominee (which will occur September 3–6, 2012), he isn't a candidate in the national election. A Democratic nominee could challenge him now on eligibility, but I doubt that will happen. In short any eligibility lawsuits will occur in Sept and Oct.

You're right that all of the other cases were dismissed due to lack of standing; this court will likely do the same, however I think the judges were very good at specifying the alternative to court action instead of dismissing the case outright.
