It is awsome that we can hear this now. Good that they got together when Jeff was still with us. Thank God Eric is still with us. That boy can bend them strings!
Saw Jeff at Ontario place, about 20 years ago.....just when he was getting famous...rocked the FORUM...reefers in the general ...grass seats (go figure)..then the BLIND GUY ..mentioned that it smelled purty sweet in the stands...always...remember..Healey
@ellonysman Cancer took Jeff...was born with it in his eyes....got 2 c him twice...awesome showman....& rock & roll..bluesman....Toronto misses his VIBE!
there is video of Stevie Ray Vaughan show on the day he was killed on the helicopter but lots of heads and stuff because the guy said he was very very nervous but got what he could in the long run it's historic.
Why is it that there is no film of this Alpine Valley concert -with all theses great players together i find it hard to believe it wasnt filmed or perhaps it was but it has never been shown?
I was at this show.The best part of the whole night was when they played sunshine of your love.Eric went over to jeff and said I'm guessing ok take a solo.Jeff tore it up, brought people to their feet. Eric stood back and watched in amazement.It was awesome.I will always remember Jeff for that.What a tragedy the next day though.
Albert King, Buddy Guy, JImi Hendrix, Eric Clpton, Jeff Healey and Stevie Ray...not in any specific order are and were giants for sure...we have some upcoming new one as well...still in the shadows. See ya later up there with my keys...
@rocktenniscat( And i bet they are).If there is a place in heaven where all the greatest musicians get togeather and jam,and the concerts would make woodstock look pale.Also there would be NO RAIN.
i love this because eveytime you see Eric gets pushed , he always steps up, and he then sound like the good ol Cream days....listen,listen..he takes a second at 5.08..love this! Jeff Healey...wish he was still around..really do.
@joelliotjake1 x2 on Jeff Healey. Damn that guy could WAIL...I hold him in the same company as the greats. Also agree on Clapton being a monster player....when pushed. Haven't heard him this inspired since the days of Duane Allman.....R.I.P. Jeff
