how often do you clean the cages with that aspen? do you just spot clean then changes everything once a week? i keep my snakes on paper right now, but thinking bout going to aspen....
@318mx I usually spot clean every 3 days, I check snakes daily thought, so alot of times im just able to clean as im going through on a daily basis. Aspen is easier to manage imo then new paper. but with aspen you need to beable to tell when it gets discolored. because thats a sign of slight mold or the bedding being soiled. with newspaper, urine/uric is alot easier to see.
If you "pop" a male that is sexually matured you will also pop out sperm/sperm plugs. You can then wipe sperm plugs from another male onto a females back to try to trigger another male to breed her.
