You got to sit in the USO section?!? What the FUCK? Soon as we got off the airplane TI's were in your face from the start. You guys got it easy man...you got to be on top of the rope? If we were on top of the rope all hell would break loose on the parallel ropes. And the weaver was fun as fuck, BDUs in my opinion are a helluva lot better. If you guys are given the choice, be sure to try and get a seat in the middle somewhere. If your lined up and put on the bus from back to front just try to get in line somewhere in the middle. You do not want to be first or last off the bus.

Can someone please explain the Air Force tattoo policy to me? My recruiter put it like this: "Nothing vulgar, racist, ect. Any tattoos, existing or new, covered by pants and a short sleeve shirt is ok. Anything on the forearms cannot cover more than 25% of the forearm. Nothing on the hands, face, or neck." Depending on the job you sign up for, it could take a while for an opening. Don't count on leaving soon, though; it took me several months before I got shipped out, and I was open general. You're on the same boat as everyone else, so just be patient.

Remember to get in shape and stay in shape. Physical fitness will be a part of your life no matter what job you take.
