@Tens1993 white paint on thick paper then just scraped over the painting...

the clear coat is a gloss which serves two purposes, 1) will wet your painting allowing the paint to be manipulated if it has dried to much and 2) will give it a glossy finish and protect the paint.

I don't mean to offend, but the space landscape thing, while really cool, is kind of done and done. Do you ever break out of that and try to give a different theme? There's geometry everywhere, and I'd love to see you play off of it in all ways!

oh thx for reply :) well, i think i was fast enough ... lets say like 40 seconds to make layers of paint and to take the paper away? still it stuck on the paint and tore .... but sometimes it was ok but it didnt make any surface at all, what could be the problem? thx

1. Try with magazine paper or some other kind of paper.

2. If you are working in sun or in very hot place, paint dries quicker.

All spray paints dry fast and MTN spray paint is one of the best for painting.

Sometimes it helps if you use clear coat to refresh the paint, other more reliable suggestion is to work fast. This is the main reason that all spray artists are making paintings very fast.

In general I usualy know what I will make (like idea, basic shapes, colors, motive), but..... it is always that during painting I make desisions based also on some random effects that came out and that I did not planed them.

In the past I had many orders to make the painting like the one on my 1st video. I did about 100 paintings like that one, but none of them is the same as the other. Each one has something special on it and I`m not talking about size and different color palette. Each one has different feeling.

First of all, you need to buy your self a good protection. Gas mask and latex gloves are obligatory to use.

I don't use mask because I have spraybooth with ventilation and filtration. This will be the next level. For beginner it is better and cheaper to use gas mask.

I`m using heavy weight glossy paper. Sometimes I also use canvas. Any glossy surface will do good.
