Reminds me of the 1st time I fought Murai; the guy is such a skill-check isn't he? This fight also made me realize that there were certain techniques to fighting each boss and figuring them out was the only way to get through the game.

A good technique to use on the first boss is to jump on the walls on do the heavy attack while in the air. It'll kill him in half the time it took you, and save a ton of health

Final boss is easy actually. Use the Flying Swallow tech. He can't stand it.

And when he fires the Dark Dragon Wave at u, use the Art of Inferno. It'll nick him a bit.

its easy ? well i haven 't played black/sigma before cuz its uber hard and i didn't have xbox live by then but... the way you beat him is , you lure him to a wall you wall run and then push Y for rush down , keep doing that :) and he'll be deady in no time

What I did was run away from him and get near a wall, so he would roll towards me. Then, as he is performing the final roll (the one that will get him to you) I run up the wall, jump off and press Y, or triangle in this case (I don't know because I had the xbox version). I was able to beat himn quite easily and without using healing items or the talisman.

Curiously, do you know any effective way to dodge the bombs of the BS Ninja's who throw the sticky bombs? If I could dodge/get those unstuck from me... it'd be so easy...

Well that's the problem... I can keep moving and jumping but I still get bombed. I can kill them fine if it wasn't for the bombs... I take so much damage with those I always have to use health pots (I am redoing chapters 6 and upwards).

My strategy wasn't too good. I never beat him on the demo and I just started playing the actual game which i've had for a while. I was constantly dying but what I did was keep moving and then press X and Triangle after he did a move. I finally beat him. So maybe that can work for you if you haven't already beaten him.

The flaming horse? Basically, I dont think I had a strategy. I generally just waited for hit to charge, and at the end of his charge he doesnt move for a couple seconds (if I remember correctly) so you can wail on him.

My strategy was generally kill those orb shooting guys since they normally always drop a blue, and then use it to heal me from the damage I took from slicing him to death... If I didnt need the health, I used it for an ultimate attack (triangle I believe)

Generally, if I remember... my tactic was be very liberal with my roll (right analog stick I believe?)

Also, I noticed that after I did damage to him. He would attack back, and if I blocked... He could grapple me.

Generally, what I tried to do was attack until I did damage (with blocks) and after I did like 2-3 hits of damage... I would flip backwards away to his attack/grapple couldnt hit me.

This was a horrible run of this boss (since my original did not record), so I rush faught him here

I beat the demo in one go the first time I played it. It was very surprising since I'm usually not very good at these games. The game was alright but not fantastic, it would get frustratingly hard when you're not fully focused. I played it on the PS3, and the graphics I must say were simply amazing, and the movements very fluid. The only downfall was that half the time it felt like I was just button bashing, which really spoiled the prossible greatness of the game a little. Nice vid :)

To kill him fast, very fast i mean ! Use XY then don't attack in the air and use Y right after landing on the ground ! It deals a lot of damage. Even without essence...
