  • Thanks for posting the video, I was thinking of making some out of diamond-plate aluminum or something similar :)

  • @SD9Driver Diamond-plate aluminum would look awesome, If I was to do it again I would use diamond plate and do a different shape too. Ride safe.

  • Like the other's said....Right On!!

Now all I have to do is get my brother to make mine!?!

  • @fx802 Lmao, that's hilarious, it's just that easy.

  • @LJSauterVideo lol, #1 plywood is what I had to work with, I think red oak would be an awesome choice though!

#2 You could use any type of rubber matting, this was just a piece of matting I had kicking around. Try and find a rubber door matt or something like that.

#3 If I could do it over, I would do a more custom floorboard shape, just google image "custom floorboards" and you will see what I mean, live and learn I guess, I hope this helps you out. It was a very fun project. Take it eass!

  • @bernbo Sounds good, I'll take some shots as I make these. And thanks for the fun videos!

  • @lrjurgen Right on. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

  • @lrjurgen Dude, nice job, they look awesome, I'm so happy that this video helped you out, that's what it's all about, sharing ideas, and thanks for the shout out on the Delphi Forums.

    Take it eass.

  • Bernbo you are the man!!! You always have some cool videos but you left out the brews while you were working. lol

  • @lewis6312 Lol your right man, forgot the brewski on this one, thank you for your kind comments, and I wish you a Merry Christmas.

  • Awsome!!!!!! Yoink!!! :P

  • @Gothtecdotcom Right on man, thank you.

  • Thanks for the cool vid. I used your idea but made mine out of 3/8" aluminum plate. After getting the shape I wanted and drilling and tapping the mounting holes I covered the top surface with "Plasti Dip" from Home Depot and dropped sandblast Grit into the wet coating. I covered it with a couple more coats and it makes instant non-skid. Worked out pretty good. Thanks for the great idea!! Also like your idea for the highway pegs. Keep'em coming :)

  • @fcordle Right on man, that's awesome the vid helped you out, sounds like you come up with a great set of boards, you should post a video response on them, love to see them, take care, oh and I have another low buck bernbo mod coming soon, stay tuned.

  • I think they look freaking awesome...nothing really dangerous about them I don't think. You did another fabulous job bernbo.
