@zac613 Oh yes it does kind of sound like the music they play at the haunted mansion at Disney Land. I have been to that park several times but only once for the holidays. They really decked the haunted mansion out for it.

@zeropp7 I don't know what a castlevania game is but if its a game played on X-box you could probably put this music in the game yourself to play while the game is running. My nephew puts his own music into his X-box games.

@owainmeurig Neither song in this vid was composed in the Victorian era but looks like Porter M. B. Co. decided to make them sound Victorian any way. Any song put to this type of music sounds Victorian.

@alip31 I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is fantastic sound. I'm glad Porter decided to put in in CD form so we can all have a little "music box" in our lives. To own one of those authentic music box players is very expensive. But if I won the lottery I would buy one!

@TheFaeri3 I got all of these images from the Deviant Art Web site. I used their search tool and typed in search terms "Victorian, Victorian ladies, Victorian home" and all these images came up. Click on their digital art section and search that one first as that section is my favorite on that site. Then search most popular images of all time section which takes images from all their art sections. And thanks for taking the time to let me know you liked my video.

@Linlee1000 Yea but if you were poor it was not so good. It was worse than being poor in today's times. Even though its no fun to be poor in any time. But back then there was not really an in between. You were either rich and a member of the "Ton" or you were dirt poor and nothing.

Also, can you imagine what dental care was like back then? (Shiver!)

@Linlee1000 I agree with you ever so much on that comment my friend! I have a special love for the culture, furnishings and architecture of that time. You see I attended college in St. Augustine Florida at Flagler College. The main campus in housed in what was once a fabulous Victorian hotel. The former Guest rooms are now dorms and there are more a few ghost floating about the place. Feel free to inquire if you would like to know more.

I think its great we can have it in CD form now. Because there is no way I could ever afford to buy one of those fantastic music boxes that really play this music. You say these images were from deviantArt. Second song, second picture: a sepia photograph of a woman in a white dress with a rose and a cameo around her neck. Whose work is that?

@adamfeoras I don't know what the artist's real name is but he/she goes by MedicineWolf19522 on the Deviant Art web site. I used the term "Victorian" in their search tool which brought a couple of pics like this by this artist up. Also if you really love this music you can buy the whole CD on Itunes. It is so beautiful. Each song is only about two mins. But there are a lot of songs on it. They have several CDs to choose from. An X-mas one too. Just beautiful!

@batlady2 Yeah, I looked the CD up and I'm seriously considering buying it. Feels wrong though, like I ought to be investing in an actual music box - the majority of their craft. Things like that are underrated and unappreciated. It's sad.

@adamfeoras I know what you mean. But they cost a LOT of money. I saw one in the Winchester mystery house in San Jose Ca. In the gift shop. They keep it playing all the time. I fell so in love with it but the price was way out of my reach. But at least Porter Music Co. shares the music on CDs. Its hypnotic. I love listening to it. But if I could afford the actual Music Box I would absolutely buy it.
