Yeah, unfortunately, that's true for an actual bow-and-arrow. Except the thumb to lip part, because if you try to be too precise, you'll slip up. Been shooting bows for nearly 8 years now, and after a while you find that people develop their own safeties. With a bowtech like that, it's much easier on the shoulder to draw from a ready-stance and you'll be able to release quicker after the full-draw clicks in. In fact, that bow's much easier to draw while crouched.

Damn man, that is some terrible shooting form. Just to help people watching this out: Make sure your drawlength is longer than this, you should be able to anchor your right hand on your jawline.Also don't grip the bow that firmly with your left. Use a relaxed hand so it does not torque.

That's just way too impractical. I guess it might be fun for a game or two, but that's about it. When I play I use a pump (Phantom) and though it doesn't shoot 30 bps - it is very very low profile, it's INSANELY accurate, I don't need to carry more than 50-60 paintballs on me, I'm FAR more mobile using it and I just love nailing all the tools out there who have to shoot ropes of paint just to hit people. Oh, and it costs me about $25 to play ALL DAY (including entry fee, paint and co2).

you'd be alot more accurate if you worked on your stance a bit. your bow arm's shaking because you've got it a little too straight.

the release should be at your cheek a little ahead of your ear. gives you room to bend your left arm a bit and lets you hold a bit steadier.

Yea a 50lb bow isn't easy to pull. But it's a compound bow, wich means you can hold it. I just started archery (not with paintballs though that's really cool) but I shoot a

24lb recurve bow. That's easy to pull, but not easy to hold.

With a compound bow, try it with a recurve bow, and try to hold it for 10 seconds. unless you work out a lot, it's not easy.
