  • @e081194eng Not heard of this one, but I've never heard of a fire on any P&W PT6A or C engines...

  • Look at that rudder movement!

  • @LilSkeezy27 i believe beechcraft rudders are often very sensitive.

  • @davidicusb They sure are, as is the nose wheel steering which is just a direct mechanical linkage from the pedals.

  • i CANT STOP WATCHING THIS OVER AND OVER.

the sound from those engines is so amazing. (:

  • OMG! I just cant stop watching and hearing this airplane, its GORGEOUS!

    KING AIR rocks!

  • is it a b200 or just a 200

  • @captainmacleish It's a 200 operating as an air ambulance. It is as standard outside (no Raisbeck mods) and I believe using the P&W PT6A-42 engine. I sound quite sad now haha, but unfortunately can answer most questions on these aircraft :)

  • a heck of a workhorse. i'll fly it one day

  • One of my favorite airplane!!! Great video!!!

  • King Air's are one of the most common Turboprops's in Africa.especially in Kenya,Along with the Cessna caravan,DHC twin otters,Dash 8's and Fokker 50's.Long Live the PT6A's.Love this plane.

  • used to have one of these. now we have a 2002 350 and a 2009 beechjet 400xp. the 350 hauls. 45minutes from Dallas to Tupelo,Ms

  • i remeber once i was taking off in my airplane and there was a king air taking off right next to me too bad i didnt have my camera with me

  • Ace plane I've done many skydives out of one of these.15000 ft in just over 8 minutes

  • beechcraft king is a really fast plane

  • short field takeoffs are nice

  • nice plane..... and what a smooth take off....

  • great.

  • Thats like one of planes used in jurrasic park 3 and thats mighty quick lol

  • copyright? lol..

  • I don't care what they say... that is one sexy airplane!

  • That guy was having a hoot with that rudder.

  • The rudder and nose wheel are controlled simultaneously with the rudder peddles. The pilot was steering the plane down the center line with the nose wheel....even the big jets do this and it looks like the pilot is playing with the rudder. I have friends on the ground and sometimes they ask me if I am having problems.

  • Yeah, I know how everything works. He just looked like he cared a little bit too much on keeping that nose wheel on center line. Could have been windy, but it didn't look or sound like it.

  • Why did I get 2 thumbs down? Apparently those 2 retards didn't quite grasp what I meant.

  • @RippedWookie there is another factor I think it is the difference between the traction of both engines, common to all multi engine aircrafts this is why (I think) beofre getting the relative wind strong enough and/or the engines stabalized you play a lot with the rudder.

  • @RippedWookie On the King Airs, the nosewheel steering is provided through a bungeed linkage that allows play (too much in my opinion). Advancing the power in most takeoffs will almost always cause a torque split enough to throw you significantly off centerline. If you don't correct for this, you will find yourself in the ditch fairly quickly. Since the steering linkage is not entirely direct like the rudder cables, the nosewheel is not moving as nearly as much as the rudder shows it to be.

  • Nice sound and fast climb :)

  • I fly for Cega and fly that plane all the time...it now has a new paint job and the raisbeck conversion...its a beautiful plane and couldn't ever imagine a better job...thanks for the videos...awesome stuff!

  • Give me two PT6A's in anything, any day !!!!!!

  • As long as I'm not paying the fuel and maintenance bills sure..:)..I'll stick with my trusty IO360 in the meantime

  • Nice video and airplane.

  • nice plane.

  • OMG.

they are so beautiful I love king air. but

I think queen air is even more beautiful

  • really love the sound

  • I didn't know there was a viewing point by 23L

You should have kept filming, that Kingair flying into the light cloudy sky would have looked beautiful.

    Nice video!

  • Nice video! Indeed very nice sounds!

Apparently there was quite a lot wind (look at the rudder corrections)

    Grtz!
