Hello folks, I'll try to put together an inspection video, showing the moving parts. Please be patient. I am going to replace the 15 year old motor with a new one, and when it's apart, that will be a good time to get video of the workings. Thanks again for the positive comments, truly appreciate the interest and kind words.
Great looking screener, definitely the best looking on Youtube. Was wondering if you could post a video of the off balanced weight and shaft. Building one as a winter project with my brother and I am looking for good ideas on the eccentric weight so as not to tear the unit apart. Yours runs so smooth. Impressive.
can I get some pictures of the flywheel and counterweight assembly you built. I am building a smaller screener for my worm castings. I also will be placeing the screener on springs and spinning a counter weight. Just can't decide on a good design.
The screen bed is suspended on springs in the front, and sitting on coil springs in the back. An off -balance weight is being spun on a shaft to create the vibration.
I am building one like this and wondered if you could explain your design for the vibration? I have built vibratory machines before but wondered how you did it. is your screen on springs? it is hard to see in the pic. thanks!
Damn it works pretty good, i have plenty of hog panel flooring, that would be perfect for a project such as that, i have everything pretty much excpet the plans or some other vids or pics, i got a ton of topsoil, any more info on it? thanks!
That...is...AWESOME! I now know what my winter project is going to be!
