@soccer4brazil I don't think so. Lions are having a hard time against buffaloes, which have no blubber, short hair and just a strong hive to protect them. Buffaloes are pretty sturdy animals, but do not have the mobility and speed of a bear, which by the way is a frighteningly fast animal, with more stamina than any cat, not just lions, with claws as long as the lion's, with a thick layer of fat below the thick hive, also covered in long hair. The bear is also a lot heavier.

@StonewallJackson26 tigers and grizzlys don't share the same habitat. Some Siberian brown bears are the size of Kodiak grizzlys and then some. The sheer thicknes of their blubber in winter times would make it hard for the tiger to get to some flesh to harm in a fight in the first place. Once th tiger gets a grip, the bear's mobility and strength would probably be too much for the tiger to survive. Just my opinion. Besides, bears aren't at al slow. They're just lazy.

Male Kodiak ways a little over 800 lbs and may times up to 1200-1400 lbs. A SIberian rarely goes over 700 lbs. The sheer size of a Grizzly or a Polar bear would suppress a tiger.

@lozza925 Idunno. Tigers and bears are pretty close in average size (height/weight). Bears are sturdier than tigers, and not at all slow. A bear can break a bull's back spine with one blow. They may not break a tiger with one blow, but a tiger's claws mean nothing to a bear (too short), whereas a bear's claws (4-6 inches long) can rip off flesh to the bone from a tiger. If we're talking about a bear after or during its winter sleep, it's something else - it's soft as silly putty until it feeds.
