installed the lockpick and it worked AWESOME... until about 8 mos later and it fried my entire electrical system.... fortunately the jeep dealer that I took it to covered it.... they gave it to me in a box and knew the lockpick fried my system. But they had the warranty cover it.... WHEW..... lucky me.
Thank you for posting. I need to open my 2008 JK Sahara to check for any loose electrical connections. At 30k ish 1/2 the lights went out and now at almost 103k (yes, we do A LOT of driving) the fan switch is a little iffy and the fan on low speed has a little sound intermittently that is off. I am hoping the bulbs in this are replaceable and not some permanent LEDs. Thank you again.
Thats why I love my TJ, its got a metal bracket built in so theifs cant mess with it. I modified it to use keyed nuts and now its impossible to take out the radio without destroying it.
