Dylan has been influenced by a wide range of music. From blues (mainly country blues) to folk to rock. Blind Willie McTell who Bob Dylan actually wrote a song about is one of hte blues musicians that influenced him. McTell is also the original artist to write and perform Statesboro Blues.
