  • am jealous of him !

  • He had to be Asian lol

  • Solid display of skill.Respectable!

  • Incredible!

  • Ah I remember him, He did my portrait as well.

What I know right now is that he's not there anymore.

I have no idea where he is now, but hopefully

I wish him luck throughout the years and now

  • People seem to use "sketch" when they actually mean "drawing". More than 5 values in this piece, so it qualifies as a drawing. Kudos to the artist all the same.

  • i like the music

  • charcoal? that's not easy :)

  • @mrN3w7 yeah, esp when it's done in such a short time span

  • this is just great !!!

  • looks like 2 people are jealous!

  • good

  • i have a question !! really this portrait took only 2:12 min ? i cant believe this !!

  • @narotoahmed Lol its obvious he cut out parts!

  • cool

  • is it coal?

  • @Topstar1234567890

well yes it is. But not just a random coal you pick up from a BBQ, they're made specifically into pencil.

  • i love the way that artist drew the eyes

i've always wanted to learn how to draw these kinds of drawings

  • please god give me this power........!!!!!!

  • .....!!!!!!

  • we must respect those who like him give up money and quality of life to do what they love

  • oh my god

  • Incredible skill,it takes me like a whole day to sketch

  • YOU'RE SUCH ADORABLE! ;-)

  • This is a nice portrait!

  • ؟؟!!حقيقه إبداااااااااااااااااع!!؟؟

  • it depends on what you call poor! some street portrait artists do very well! plus they get to work doing their hobby, which is a richness in its self!

  • impressionante!! o.O

  • رسم ولا اروع

  • stupendo

  • wow ..shes good...how much to get it done??

  • wow, you're doing what i struggle to do with ease. I can learn from you.

  • gr8

  • The only time I really use charcoal is to get a legitimate black when I'm drawing with graphite pencil.

  • Bravo!

  • I can't stand charcoal, It smudges and makes my hands dirty and i get finger prints everywhere, and the charcoal pencils suck, only pure sticks work for me. Good job, BTW

  • i love charcoal, easy to block in large chunks of shade etc, i like to see instant results so it works good for me. we should totally have a youtube argument over our charcoal preferences!!

  • agreed.

  • cold play is very nice music for drawing:)

  • coldplay is awesome : )

  • I can draw but I dnt thnk i wuld b able 2 do it in front of walking people in the middle of the largest city in the world lol im not good with alot attention. Great Drawing

  • God,if only I could draw like that!!I mean ok,the idea that I've never taken art classes comforts a little bit...but still this guy who draw that is sooooooooooooo bloody amazing,I don't think I'd ever be able to draw anything like that in my entire life!!!!..........Beautiful drawing :')

  • very nice <3

  • around 20 years sso good luck

  • how much time does it take reach dat level????????

  • pro

  • charcoal, nice work

  • Amazing portrait.

And to the person who thinks drawing faces is 'not actually that hard' - if you mean drawing a smiley using only a couple of lines and 2 dots, then fair enough.

If you mean it's easy to draw a face that has the actual likeness of the poser, then you are very much mistaken. What this artist has done takes a heck of a lot of practice and no small amount of skill.

  • @soulsonicfarce To each their own. I, myself, am an artist, and getting the likeness in a portrait is easy for me, and I don't remember when it wasn't. Even when I can't get the face perfect, I always retain a likeness. Portraits are fairly easy for me. But I'm not saying that to brag, just that everyone's different. It's hell for some, for others it comes easily. I don't deny this is a good portrait though, very well done.

  • Its Soo Beautifull!!! :'(

  • Marvellous!!

    Congratulations!!!

  • what he using to draw?

  • i think its charcoal. possibly the best charcoal ive seen

  • this is like one of the greatest live drawing i've ever seen!

  • that is so awesome

  • Great job! I love to draw too, feel free to check out my videos :)

  • why are those artist always the poor people and any managers which only sit in their offices the rich??

it would be fantastic if such a guy in the central park would get rich instead of those guys which cant do something special!

  • Good question..

  • because it's actually not that hard to draw a face...

and there's no direct value assessment to art whereas in business all work can be directly or indirectly related to revenue

  • Well,if it ain't that hard,I'm sure you can draw something as wonderful as that...It's not that difficult according to you,so come on go ahead!!!!......

  • @urbane92 Yeah... horrible isn't it? Art is dead in the corporate world. Of course cartoons are always in demand, but we who make things like portraits will never really make money from it, because there is no business that uses that and no one with money is interested in buying them. =/

I can make up to $35 for each portrait I draw, but no one wants them so I can sell like 1 portrait every 2 months. @__@

  • @sharkhead7854 Pimp up the art a bit perhaps ? Surely on the whole internet there are enough people to want it ? Just a thought, I'm just starting out in art :)

  • @urbane92 You want an answer? The rich managers are deceivers and exploiters and honest artists are unselfish!

  • @urbane92 b kos poor man always do what dey want to do rich pipol needs to sit on their fucking chair to make theire future much better that was fuck!!! they cant feeel what our feel

  • @urbane92 Seriously they're the ones with talent!

  • @urbane92 it is because when u become an artist u enter a differnt part of your life, an artist do not thinks about money his thinkings, likes-dslikes changes he have nothing to do what does he look like and what apperals he is in

'Art is an god gift' god is also not rich or poor he lives in heart same as art does.....

  • Woww this iz sickkkk! I hope i get jus as gooood!

  • that is blooming ridiculous!

  • wow it's so amazing!

  • this is like one of the greatest live drawing i've ever seen!

  • SICK!!!

  • excellent video..well drawn..great atmosphere..and happy model afterwards..good work!!!

  • You are good. How long did it take for you to draw this; 15, 20, 30 minutes?

  • great stuff. although why not just use a charcoal pencil? great technique

  • Watch My vid. and rate plz...

  • Great work....if you can deal with the pressure of drawing from life. When you draw from a portrait one can meticulously compare it to the pic. Drawing from life is not seen as flawed like comparing a drawing from a pic. You are drawing a moment frozen in time that can not truly be catured again!

    Great work!

  • GODLIKE... I'm an artist, and to do this i take like.. 5 days!!! using pencils of course. this guy rocks!!!

  • nice

  • It's worth the smile on the subject's face, isn't it? I know, I've felt the same sense of satisfaction in their eyes. It is something that money cannot buy~

  • Omg I wish I could do that

  • This is really nice and soo realistic im into drawing real life people but i still need lots of practice :P

  • dvvero bello!!^^

  • marvelous. magical. I love watching people draw from life. thanks for this.
