I have since found the DVD from the HBO special CGP. I think you may be right this was recorded at a different time.

"Mr. Guitar" and "Mr. Mark"...awesome possum! I am more familiar with Chet's older albums than the more recent ones...for those of you who never heard him play "Steeplechase Lane" please check out the You Tube posting of it. Also, there is another "pretty doggone good" guitar player with some You Tube postings. I don't know him, but I am quite impressed with "I'll See You In My Dreams" (Finger-style guitar post) and "Maria Elena" by Rob Bourassa.

I believe this clip from an HBO concert which also featured Emmy lou Harris, Mike McDonald, and the Everly Bros. Why isn't someone releasing it on DVD or Blu-ray? Great concert - these 2 guys were meant to play together.
