On June 15, 1990, my adoption was finalized. I was just shy of five years old, but love took me in on November 5, 1985 when my adoptive parents received custody of me. I was 40 days old, sick, weak, and had received inadequate care from a woman who despite the fact that I was her fourth baby, had very poor parenting skills. Everything changed for me. The Lord knew that these people He had placed me with would love me and protect me the way she could not. My tears for my parents are joyful now.

I used to play this song all of the time, when I was single. Then my husband "took me in", and the love of God became so tangible! This is one of the songs we played at our wedding. Thank You, Jesus! You're awesome! Thank You for taking me in soooo many years ago.

I love this song because it really describes how much my life and many others have changed after some one adopted us.It is truly a great act of love when a person opens their heart and their home to a kid who needs love and some body to let them know that they will never be alone.Thanks Steven for this song because my father took me in and I will always be grateful.

I am an adopted child. I am so glad my mother chose life.

This song makes me think of everyone on Earth before they find the Lord. Everyone is lonely and longing for Him weather they realize it or not and when they finally find Him, they go home to thier Father and everything is as it should be.

Of course I also think of the countless people searching for thier earthly families. It breaks my heart to think that so many children go to bed each night without parents or often without any one who loves them at all. May God bless everyone one of them.
