Great attack and rendition from Dame Kiri, but I think Renee Fleming owns this aria; such control and dynamics.

Gorgeous (after she warms up a bit). The last high note has the incredible focus and beauty of a Leontyne Price high note. I love how Kiri sings through her phrases and the voice simply disappear seductively into the ether!

The song is from the opera "Louise" by Gustave Charpentier.
This perfomance was filmed at the Barbican Centre in London in 1989.
