Thermoacoustic motors are mostly a novelty, but if you make the piston a magnet and put a coil around it you can generate electricity, just a free piston, no linkage or flywheel needed. Enough of them with solar heating could do some useful work.

Esta hecho todo de auminio menos los pistones que son de grafito, tambien puedes utilizar aluminio, bronce o laton.q es sumidero??

The problem there is, that you would need a magnet, that keeps it properties at high temperatures. Aaand this probably isn't going to happen.

You don't necessarily need anything cold in the tube, it's just a heat sink to the atmosphere.
