Well, RDJ was good in Restoration. But Meg Ryan was oddly cast as a mad Irish woman. Lol.

And yeah, Charlie Chaplin had like a dozen children or something, but the film didn't feature the children much. I remember the Beach scene with the two oldest boys. I always thought it was funny that Chaplin's real life daughter played her own grandmother in the film.

I was really looking forward to this movie. Sure there are plenty of movies that I see the trailers for and am interested in, but only a few times a year are there movies I just HAVE to see.

My opinion of this movie isn't because I had unreasonably high expectations.

The first part of the movie was TERRIBLE. The whole movie seems like it's written by a 40 year old using their idea of how teenagers talk.

But it got better.. Robert Downey Jr. was amazing, especially the pool scene.

Entertaining.

i was watching ferris bueller the other day and out of nowhere i just went RDJ soooo could've played this part...

matthew broderick WAS the part and everything, but imagine just how good downey would have been in it ;)

Downeyful LOL!! that was amazing. yeah Ferris Bueller remains the BEST teenage movie in my opinion. and RDJ as Julian Wells...wow, who would of thought he'd grow up to be the clean cut principal someday.

Robert was cast in originals roles for several films but lost them because of his drug abuse. I know he was set to play the role of Edward Scissorhands but it obviously went to Johnny Depp...
