Yes I have found some silver rings and gold.

They are fun to find especially if they have real diamonds settings.

They either say yes or they say no. Most are accomodating and say it is ok and then you have some people with well manicured lawns that do not even want you to touch their lawn. One thing to note I will only try to hunt yards at the beginning of Spring or fall when the ground is moist, because I don't want to get blamed for brown spots after I have left. I will hunt after a good rain also.
