Yup! Size DOES matter when doing acrylics haha I think mine is a 1 or 2... but you'll have to experiment with them to see which suits u and your style best :)
Hey flameangel225... yup :) I just did a set on a customer infact... on natural nails... with nail polish... acrylic paint for the stripes and acrylic art on thumbs...
awesome! thank you :) sorry if it was a total no0b question. it's just that i recently tried it myself for the first time and had thought i messed up or used the wrong products bcus it still that powderyish texture at the end & i thought it would be glossy automatically from reacting with the monomer liquid or something.. lol :)
It's no prob sweetie! Glad to be of help :) I'm a beginner too! Just did this exact set on a client recently...
The matt texture of acrylics is due to the unreacted layer of monomer on the top i believe... only if the bead is against a smooth surface like certain plastics... when u remove it it'll be naturally shiny, other than that, acrylics will dry matt. U'll have to buff to shine or apply a top coat or gel top coat to make it shiny... hope this helps!
Can you tell us what brand acrylics you are using? They look really good

in the picture at the end of the video, the 3d part looks quit glossy. did you apply the top coat at the end or is your powder like that naturally?
rikuka 2 years ago
Hi rikuka :) Yup i painted everything in a final layer of topcoat to protect the art...

do you have to put anything on your nails before the acrylic ??
andreawhitee 2 years ago
If u're planning to do it on polished nails, you can do it straight on no problem. No need for prep
