You call Planet Earth a little planet? You need to do more research and find out about the ture story. Big OIL companies are controling the world and they don't want people saving fuel.
umm yeah... you realize that countries that are much more strict when it comes to the environment are all about deep sea drilling and nuclear energy, yet we sit with our thumb up our asses...
you'll never get rid of oil... if you wear shoes, congrats made of oil... you buy food at any store, congrats shipped by gas or packaged in oil...
you simply can't force a nation off of supply...
economics 101 and free market... screwing with this will destroy our economy...
I am not saying to stop using oil all together, but reduce comsumtion and use other forms of energy like solar. Right now its not really about who uses oil or how we use it, its about saving Earth from becoming hell like Venus.
that's funny.... you think we will trap so much CO2 that temperatures will be 800 F?
did you know one volcano eruption releases enough CO2 emissions into the atmosphere that we can do in 100 years as humans?
we all have our point. I'm not some oil hoarding man. We need to use all forms of energy we can now, and invest in technology in our future. Some revolutionary ideas are 10-20 years away from becoming normal usage, but we cannot just "force" ourselves off oil like Congress expects

the renaissance would be the second great depression...
when americans need money the most, this bill will tax the ever loving crap out of them...
I can't wait for hyperinflation... all to save a little planet that no other country really cares about except a fuel "special" people in the US...
