Stop it at 1:09. He hit the car on drivers side at about 50 mph. That driver died or got disabled. Lawsuit Lawyers on scene I think. Why choose a road to land? Better hit trees than cars.
NTSB report SEA96LA196, indicates the carburetor sucked in a foam air filter and killed the engine. They fault inadequate maintenance. Glad nobody got killed! It's amazing how easily those guys moved that Glasair!
@pdutube Engine sucked a Foam Air Filter? Only some lawnmowers used that. Soaked in oil to thick them. Reusable, sure. After they killed the engine when got dirty and enriched the mixture, engine died and a tune up and filter cleaned neede. But on a plane is idiocy to put one of those. Or be ready to lean the mixture when start missing, maybe will make it back or like here, crash on a road.
I remember being 8yrs old and walking down from my house with my mom and sisters, to see the wreckage next to the roadhouse tavern (the green and white building you see in the backround).
That light pole is closer than it actually appears and the pilots take off is done no differently then than it is now...especially since they went to the EC-135. nice 180 degree pedal turn there :>

Chicken pilot. Nearly kills auto driver. He should have taken his chances away from road. Even if it killed him.
