It is taking a bit of time as life is very hectic at the moment. But we are getting there. If you like a recipe just add "ENG" to it and if its in english it will come up. Hope this helps :)

  • Bajia aunty..you're good att cooking but if you fold up your sleeves while cooking and take off your bangles and rings..it would make it more hygienic.

  • @mahwishsaleem, no comment

  • @mahwishsaleem gre8 idea ...

  • I was wondering how do I prevent the chappati from drying aand turning hard? Also sometimes I get thick flour around the chappati after it is cooked, what can I do about this?

  • @meme1734 your dough is hard, and use less dry flour. heat is no good

  • @meme1734 sometimes I add a few spoonsful of oil to to the mix to prevent the chapatis from drying and going hard. Then I found you can buy different qualities of flour in which you dont have to add the oil. I use warm water to the flour.

  • @meme1734 no oil added in pakistani chapati. not part of its recipe

  • @meme1734 mix aata a bit thin, and leave overnight, if still no good change aata

  • well, your rotis are so perfect, i have a query when i was in Pak i used to do the same tawa hata k seenk laytee thee, but now i have electric stove with no flame, mai kya kron?

  • @diyaqamar taway per he saik l, wo dekho roll ki recipe roti to taway per bhi phool jati hai.

  • @Bajiascooking hi even i have the same problem....jab mein roti electric stove par daalti hoon tab roti jal jaati hain.....aap ke paas koi tarkeeb hai jisse meri roti naa jale....

  • @ara1985ful, to roti stove per rakh deti ho ? taway per bhi saiki ja sakti hai phool jati hai. werna koye bhi jiase oven ki grill si hoti hai waisi koye bhi cheez khareed lo. choolhe per rakh lo.

  • God, how can cook with many rings and bracelets. That is not right. This is mexican flour tortilla.

  • awesome hope i get in the same way..thanks for uploading it :-)

  • @hanikavuluri welcome, good luck :)

  • @bajia i just want to know is it cold or hot water and for how long did you leave the dough

  • @krish5794, cold water, resting time of aata depends on its quality, some you can cook straight away some good over night some just need an hr. try with an hrs rest.

  • thanks simple sweet and very informative!

  • @asit1 you are welcome, good luck

  • salam baji mere pass electric stove ha us pe roti kese banoaon ap ki tareeqe se

  • this same recipe is in english as well. pl look at it

  • Salam u Alaikum ..

Bajia Merey pass electric stove hai tou us per roti kesey baney gi?? ..

  • Hlke se wazan ka frying pan ho, us per koshish ker dekho. werna wo camping stove hota hai usi main hair spay ki terha gas ki bottle lage hoti hai, chota sa $12-15 ka milta hai green colour main hota hai wo le aao. kafi roz rotiyan ban jateen hain.

  • bajia aap nay kafi kisam keh parathay or roti bhe bunani seekhai hai. Lakin Naan ke recipe mujhay aap ke site per nahi mili. please aap keh pass jab bhe time ho please naan bhe bunanay seekhain. Main bana laiti houn lakin for some reason woh heavy buntay hain or I think keh naan light honay chahiya.

    thank you

  • han mere channel per naheen hai naan. bohot he arsa ho gaya ab to banaye hoye. kisi din dekhoon gi bana ker. waqt he naheen milta :(

  • mujhsay kabhi bhi pairra sahy nai bnta is iye roti bhi achi nai hoti.. iA i'll try it this way.. jazakillah baji

  • good luck :)

  • bahuth shukriya bahanji

  • you are welcome

  • u do know that bracelet harbor germs right? ... just checking.

  • yes they increase immunity :)

  • I make Rotti often at home, but I must admit Bajia that I never realised which side is the best to make it so fluffy and puffed on the heat. But after watching your Chapti/Rotti I tired and it worked so well. First time in my life, all of the Rottis were so full of steam and puffed to perfection. Thanks a lot, even these every day chores need perfection in life.

  • its all about timmings and heat, good to hear that. thanks

  • Mashallah u made a perfect roti. Jab meri roti aisay phoolti hai tho meri Ammiji bahut khush hotay hein aur kehte hein ke vaakai mujhe roti banana aa gai hai lol

  • aata aur timings theek hon to bus :)

  • i love your gold bangles and bracelets...

  • Thank you :)

  • where i can find dough kneading machine and which company makes it.

    you are really amazing cook.

    thanks

  • Its kenwood, thanks for liking, good luck

  • mine finally blew ! thanks! u rock

  • Great :)

  • Can anybody tell me the recipe of the dough (vid from 0:20 to 1:30) and whether yeast is used or not? How long dough is left to rest after kneading? tq

  • Only flour (aata) and water is mixed. Different kind of wheat flour needs different amount of water. At the end it should be a little softer then play dough. Some aata need resting some don’t. when you make roti you will understand. Mix it at night leave it in fridge apply wet hand and seal it before placing in fridge. Good aata is the key to good roti.

  • i do exactly what u do but why doesnt my roti puff???:(

  • Flour is no good, dough is not right or may be heat.

  • why doesnt my rotis puff i do exactly like wat u did, rotis r cooked soft but they dont puff! why???

  • aata not right, ghange it and goondh little bit more.

  • wow,you are amazing. Love your video.

  • Thanks

  • g g

  • bilkul meri mama k style main roti banai ap ne aur mujhay yaqin hai ye dunya ka best tarika hai roti pakanay ka

  • acha :) thanks

  • woww cud u tell me the dough maker which brand is it

  • kenwood

  • hello bajia!

can you please tell me the ratio of water to flour for making good roti?

  • watch it and understand, i have never measured. different aatas tak different ammount of water

  • bhaji kneeding aa is very easy add lhaf glass water and mix the ata dont kneed it until you have made the whole ata wet and mix with your hands when you have done this with the whole ata then kneed the dough it is very easy

  • han ammi aataa gondh that way :)

  • @Bajiascooking thanks for replying to my message. I actually made it today, and forgot to let the dough sit for an hour before starting. and the roti's came out to be really really hard. any suggestions besides letting the dough sit covered?

  • Heat of the tawa is not ok, turning over timings not right, or less water in aata, add a little more water next time and mix at night, leve it in fridge over night take it out when you are ready to make roti.

  • @Bajiascooking hi again..if you dont mind, i have a quick question to ask. after making the dough for the roti..and placing it in a bowl with a plastic wrap on top..how long should i wait until i can start rolling out the roti??

  • it all depends on aata quality, i make it straightaway. this aata i use is the best, i think name is lashand.

keep any other aata for an hr or so, keep in fridge can use for 3 days

  • @Bajiascooking asalamalaikum baji, I absolutely love your cooking!!! Although I am bengali, I really love pakistani cooking. and this is a really good recipe for making roti. I just wanted to know what the brand your mixing machine was. It would really make roti making easier for me. So if you can, please reply back letting me know. Thank you so much. take care

  • thanks for liking, its kenwood

  • aata aur heat theek naheen.

  • Salam Bhajia what a coincidence i am also called appiya at home a little difference in spelling.Your cooking receipes are great, i would like to give u a suggestion, why it is not in English as most of the viewers are desperate to watch and hear this in english.I have watched one of ur video with english version but honestly i am quite used to with ur voice and style it didn't appealed me as i\couldn't find any connection, no hard feelings plz.We do like it be in ur voice in eng .

  • i will always do my recipes in Urdu. Pakistani cooking can not be well discribe in english. english word batao BHOON LAIN ka :) i am trying to do do all of them in english as well. per apni zubaan URDU :)

  • I like all of your bracelets on your wrists. I have often see women from India wearing many bracelets. Is there a reason that women wear so many bracelets?

  • to me no :) but in our culture and society people do have several reasons.
